Is there anyything I can take for my period pains?
I have real painful period pains and today at school it was annoying because of it. I like in the UK and are looking around for things to help with it so I can go to school without feeling really faint and sick. I didn't think this month's was going to be too bad, so I decided to go to school but yeah I felt really bad and almost left school early until it just disappeared when we went to the IT Suite. It is hurting now still and I am wondering if there is anything I can take or use or something that will help me feel better when I go to school or out? (Not like a hot water bottle, cant carry that around school) I saw this advert for something called Feminax Ultra and thought that might work until I found out it's for people aged between 15 and something. I'm younger than 15. I saw a while back an advert for this like heated strip to put around your tummy under your clothes for periods. Is there an age limit for that? I cant even take asprin cos I'm too young!
Plz help!

Your best bet is to take Midol or Tylenol and drink a glass of orange juice. When you come home from school put a heating pad on your tummy or lower back and just relax.

When I was younger my grandmother always gave me 2 aspirin and a glass of OJ. Always did the trick! She said it is what they did back in the day when there were no Midol or anything else. Take care, hope you feel better.

PS. Also try doing a little exercise. Doctors say doing 30 minute work out (walking, ride bike, jog or gym aerobics) while you are on your period helps relive built up pressure and pain.

You can take ibuprofen (Nurofen), or paracetamol. Ibuprofen is probably better for periods. When you get home from school, have a warm bath and relax with a hot water bottle on your tum.

Sorry you are having this problem, I remember what it was like being in pain at school. :(

Your doctor might be able to prescribe you something stronger if Nurofen doesn't help you.

I huge a huge dose of chocolate, and a bubble bath - but obviously you can't carry that around all the time...
When I've on the move I tend to take one/ a couple of paracetamols (or only one if your under 12). It works for me and you can take that at your age. Hope it helps xx.

EDIT: I think David Tennant is quite hot too :)
