I'm squinting to read on the computer, but I see fine. Do I need glasses?
My vision is technically 20/20, so I don't know why I squint. Should I go to a lenscrafters? Or should I maybe see an optomologist?

Or does everyone squint at computer screens?

I do the same thing and you probably only squint when you find the thing you are looking for on the computer like when your focusing on writing your probably trying really hard to read it right.I don't think you need glasses but if you think you do tell your parents and they might get an appointment to the eye docter.

yes you might need prisoms. go to optomologist

is your screen too bright?

foohey13
i have the same problem! but i don't think you need glasses, i don't wear them. whenever i realize i'm squinting i try to stop, and i still see the same way as when i am squinting...maybe it's some habit with computers

Emma
you could talk to your optometrist and see what they think. A computer screen is quite different from everything else we look at in our day to day life. You could also be squinting if yo'ure sitting too close to the screen, or looking at it for too long.

Jason
You may need to adjust your computer monitor. If that dont help consider getting an eye exam.

you may want to get your eyes checked cuz your vision may have changed since your last check up.

otherwise i'd suggest just going to the drug store and getting a cheap pair of reading glasses.

jimmymae2000
Go to Drug store or Walmart and find some reading glasses that are full lens and focus at two(2) feet. Just hold your hand up to focus.

Crazy_Jax
Try looking at other screen at like your friends house. Sometimes it is the screen itself other times it is your eyesight. I have that too, on my computer it seems blurry but on someone else's computer screen I see just fine. If it doesn't change then i suggest going to an optometrist.

Dominick
I don't think you need glasses It may just be a habit if you find your self doing it again then Just Catch yourself

Dr. Goats
You may be needing reading glasses for close up reading. ask your eye doctor

Elizabeth
Steph,

Go get your eyes checked and tell the optometrist/opthamologist what you're experiencing. It sounds like your midrange vision may be affected and you may need "computer glasses". The glasses look like any other pair of glasses, but take the strain off your eyes when you're on the computer.

Hope that helps!
