but my new ones hurt my eyes, they feel so strong, but its clearer than before, i feel dizzy when i move around and feel my eyes are strained/ headacheee, is this normal for the first day?

T.J.
You will be fine,it is normal to have a headache from getting new glasses. It happened with me when I got my glasses, actually not only did that happen, but they looked blurry at first, but I knew my eyes needed to get used to them and I see fine out of them.If your headache doesn't go away after a few days,I would get your glasses re-done.

Wait a few days and if it gets worse then go back to your opticians

Yes, it's not unusual, certainly if you haven't worn them that much.

Not wearing glasses when you need them, can also make your eyes get worse also (not much, but gradually), so I would advice to either wear them as you should, or switch to contacts.

Contacts are extremely painfull when you first wear them, and will irritate your eyes for the first few weeks, but after that you'll never be troubled by them again.

If you hate to wear glasses, then i will show you an internet site with huge collection of information on alternate treatment for near or farsightedness. This site contain herbal, homeopathy, Chinese, Yogic, Tibetan, Egyptian eye exercise, Acupressure eye massages and eye palming. It is not necessary to follow all exercise choose the one which opt you best and choose one herb, eye bright eye drops and all acupressure massages.

Yeah expect it for a few days at best and look out for headaches, it's entirely normal.

HeyTherePony
Yes. Your eyes aren't used to the new perscription.

I always get headaches the first few days I wear a new perscription, cause it's quite a strain on my eyes.
