Rick A
this site is really good with swine flu information. It helped my friend figure out if she had regular flu or swine flu (she just got back from mexico during spring break)

probably not if you don't have a fever, chills, or body aches
but here's the CDC website that can help!

If you have a high fever (101+) call your doctor.

A cold is not the same as swine flu.

This guestion is too serious to be answered here.Go to the docter.

Taste the rainbow.
Go to the hospital and check it out - the "Swine Flu" can be treated if it is caught fast enough. It indeed does react to antibiotics.
Go in to the doctor and tell them you were here concerning a flu you've had for a week now, not seeming to make any progress on healing.
Good luck!! I hope you don't have it.

Sounds like the common cold. Possibly and allergy problem. Mind you, I am not a doctor. But I do have really bad allergies around this time of the year. Ask yourself this...

-Whats your current temp?
-Do you joints ache?
-Do you have a headache?
-Sore throat?

And mind you, a few of those can also be linked you allergies. Although I cant 'promise you' its not swine flu. I can tell you from what you have said...it sounds very, very, very little like swine flu.

The "Swine Flu" should be given your serious consideration. At the same time let your doctor diagnosis you. No need to panic...see your doctor.

everyone, stop worrying about the ***** swine flu! Only ONE person has died from it in the U.S. and it was a LITTLE baby. I can see why you are worrying so much though, its because of the damn media so its not your fault. anyway look at it this way, if out of 300,000,000 in the U.S. only one person has died from it, its nothing to worry about.

What are the signs and symptoms of this virus in people?
The symptoms of this new influenza A H1N1 virus in people are similar to the symptoms of regular human flu and include fever, cough, sore throat, body aches, headache, chills and fatigue. A significant number of people who have been infected with this virus also have reported diarrhea and vomiting. Also, like seasonal flu, severe illnesses and death has occurred as a result of illness associated with this virus.

How does this new H1N1 virus spread?
Spread of this H1N1 virus is thought to be happening in the same way that seasonal flu spreads. Flu viruses are spread mainly from person to person through coughing or sneezing by people with influenza. Sometimes people may become infected by touching something with flu viruses on it and then touching their mouth or nose.

My guess is that you do not have it.
