pretty much everything causes cancer these days, its scary... but it takes a lot of one thing to cause cancer (ex. diet pop). I havent heard anything about ice cream causing throat cancer, but I hope it doesnt because I cannot live without it :) |

no it cant, if u would see a bump its not cancer but frostbite... u could only get frostbite if u ate ice straight without stopping for a looooooooong time so theres nuthin to worry about :D |

I seriously doubt that frozen water can cause cancer. If it did I would be in big trouble. People eat slushes and drink cold drinks all the time. People love ice cream. Never heard of any thing bad about cold drinks or food. It can sure mess up a tooth through. |

No. No research studies have linked consumption of ice cream to cancer. |

No never heard of that yet. But it can brake down the enamel on your teeth. Ask your dentist about that one. Kinda like hard surface against hard surface it can break away. |

no more than the water you are already drinking - ice is nothing but hard water |

There is a link between drinking piping hot beverages and esophageal cancer. This is because (probably) the liquid burns the esophagus and causes inflammation. There is a suspected link between the body's inflammatory responses and cancer.
However, no link whatsoever with cold items. In fact, "common sense" would suggest a protective benefit. |
