Aids symptoms and associated diseases will surface more rapidly in Nations with poor quality of education, nutrition, and water.
In the United States for example, access to clean water, good nutrition, medications, and education of the disease are the reason Aids is kept in check.
A person who is poor, with no access to good nutrition and medication will suffer the onset of Aids much more rapidly.

mostly ignorance. when you are well informed about it then you most likely take precautions and therefore will not get infected

One of the main reasons in Africa is because they don't have access to the kind of protection we do. It's mainly the poor parts of Africa and while they are working on safe water and finding food, they don't have the money or the resources or the education they need to protect themselves.

Most likely these areas are uneducated about the virus. They don't know how to prevent it's transmission and lack the supplies to do so. Therefore they keep passing it onto their children and those who live in their communities.
