One of the main reasons in Africa is because they don't have access to the kind of protection we do. It's mainly the poor parts of Africa and while they are working on safe water and finding food, they don't have the money or the resources or the education they need to protect themselves.

Most likely these areas are uneducated about the virus. They don't know how to prevent it's transmission and lack the supplies to do so. Therefore they keep passing it onto their children and those who live in their communities.
