It sounds like stress. Stress can do all sorts of things to our bodies. Upset stomach is a very common symptom. I went through this as a kid. My doctor prescribed REDLIN or RIDLIN (sp?) (not to be confused with RITILIN). I was on it for a few months and then all of a sudden it all went away. You really need to talk to your doctor. Good luck kiddo. :) |

Are you hungry? make sure you eat before school.
Also, maybe you are feeling anxious about going to school?
Regardless see a doctor about it. Good Luck. |

At 16, I hate to offer this idea, but is there any chance you're pregnant?
If not that, maybe you should see a doctor about anxiety? |

It could be because you are hungry or maybe there was something you ate the night before if the pain lasts all day long you should see a Doctor it may be an infected kidney LOL. |

Some of this could be related to nerves since school started (an example only). It could also have something to do with what you might be eating.
I would recommend letting your parents know what's going on so that they can help you keep an eye on the situation. |

your either hungry and didn't eat before heading to school (not healthy)
or have a really fast metabolism and after eating need to go to the bathroom. |

Might be to long between meals (dinner-breakfast). or maybe its from holding your pee in too long and not wanting to get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. If its none of what i mentioned, then it might be best that you see a doctor. Good luck! |

Well I use to have this problem. It could really be anything. Mine was always nerves of school. I would get nervous before I went to school.
Maybe your best bet would be going to see a doctor about it just to be safe. |

Try eating a light breakfast, it'll get your stomach working after sleeping. Theres a reason people say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, lol. |

Could you be pregnant?
If not, try altering your breakfast. |

it might be wht you ate for dinner...like if you ate too late, or it could be the early waking...mine did tht in high school too and so did my sisters...maybe eat breakfast, or if you do eat breakfast maybe try to eat later like when you get to school. good luck!!! |

Same thing happens to me if I don't eat breakfast...so I would recommend eating breakfast (even some dry cereal helps) |

Does it make a difference whether you've eaten or not? (Or what you've eaten?) Does the pain go away at the same time? (Have you tried eating different things at different times to see if it helps?)
Does your stomach hurt on mornings when you slept in past that time?
Is it only on mornings when you're going to school? (If so, is it because you're stressed about going to school?)
If it's bad, you could talk to the school nurse about it. (Or, you know, your parents.) |

WELL, IT COULD BE ANXIETY/STRESS. IT MAY SOUND A LITTLE SILLY, BUT IF IT HAPPENS TO YOU OFTEN AND AROUND THE SAME TIME, YOU COULD SUBCONCIOUSLY HAVE SOME ANXIETY ABOUT WHAT YOUR DAY MAY BRING. THE SAME THING HAPPENS TO MY DAUGHTER, SHE IS 16 AS WELL, AND WE HAVE HAD HER CHECKED OUT AND SHE IS PERFECTLY FINE, BUT STILL SUFFERS IN THE MORNING, AND THE PAIN GETS BETTER THROUGH THE DAY. IT DOESNT SEEM TO HELP IF SHE EATS ANYTHING EITHER. ANYWAY,IF THAT SOUNDS LIKE WHAT YOURE GOING THROUGH, JUST KNOW YOUR NOT ALONE. SORRY, WE HAVENT FOUND ANY QUICK FIX FOR THE PAIN YET. JUST TIME. MUCH LUCK. |
