What are the leading causes of death in America?

As of 2002 the leading cause of death in America was heart disease (for men and women). For those under 34 it was accidents. The website below has more info.

St Guido
cigarette smoke, car accidents, gun fire

Big J
women cheating

Heart Disease

when your heart stops beating, and you stop breathing...
Seriously though, I think it is:
1. heart disease
2. cancer
not sure of the rest...

smoking and obesity (diseases secondary, like coronary disease). and stupidity

Heart Desease

heart disease and cancer

Heart Failure!

The Great and Powerful Oz
Stupid people

Heart attack
cancer diabetes

Heart disease followed by Cancer

Your question is a little too general. Different age groups have different leading causes of death. So cancer and heart disease will be true for one age group but not another.
