Will this cellulite go away?
I am not overly overweight..I am 27, 5'6 and 180 pounds.
I have a lot of cellulite on my thighs and lower abdomen..I have started exercising every morning and am eating very healthy..will this help to get rid of it?? And how long would it take?

As a woman, we are prone to have cellulite. It just is. I am 5'9 170lbs and i even have it!!! Womens fat cells are oval. Imagine oval fat cells lined up next to eachother like this....0000000. The groves in between are what make the cottage cheese like dimples we call cellulite. Sux i know but exercising will help. Men dont have it because their fat cells are square therefore there are no groves. Cruel joke to play on women but it is true. All women have cellulite. Even playboy bunnies. They just have a nice photoshop airbrush before they are put in the magazines. Also another thing that will help is a good cellulite cream. The only that has worked for me so far is from Dermavista and it is called GENISIS A and it works on a hormonal level, so it just doesn't thin out the dermis like other creams. It's pricey (over $100) but I promise it works, or else I wouldn't buy it.

Diet and Exercise can help cellulite go away. Cellulite is normally cold because it doesn't get enough blood because of circulation. Try rubbing it or putting s electrical back rubber to it. There are creams to but I don't think they do much. Good luck.

try using a body brush to get the blood circulating, using firming cream and keep working out; it's working for me.

They never really go away...you can make them less noticeable

Cellulite is not an overweight problem. I'm 5'8'' and 132lbs. Very skinny and I still have horrible cellulite, worse than any of my overweight friends. I havn't found anything that fixes it. I even under went some painful laser treatments and it all came back. I've heard through the grapevine that Nivea (spelling?) products work alright. They're basically the best of the worst. Just learn to accept it.

The modern consensus seems to be that you may be successful in diminishing the area of cellulite you have on display, but once you've got it, it will never go away.

i think it wont it will take 20-30 years to fade

naomi Joy
Just keep eating well and exercising. The cellulite will eventually fade but speaking from experience it never fully goes away. Some of the skinniest women still have cellulite. Also remember: alcohol and smoking can make it worse in some people.
Good luck.

Biking and working with weights for your legs really help.

Hi, I had really bad cellulite but mine was due to being over weight and I have now lost my weight some have completely disappeared but the majority have faded but really well and they are hardly noticeable, using bio oil is fantastic. Cellulite with never 100% go but they will fade and the health eating and exercise will work a treat so keep that up and they will fade, some women are more prone to cellulite than others it can also occur if the skin has been stretched quite quickly ( grown in height or quick weight loss or gain). i hope this has helped,
warm regards.

What are you eating that you say it's "very healthy," and what kinds of exercising are you doing? You can email me.

thats a really good question. im not sure but good luck!

Tightening up the skin and losing weight together will significantly reduce cellulite. If you build up muscle in the areas that you have it.

Dr. Oz says there is nothing you can do to get rid of it.. But I seem to think that if you cut out the wrong fats and exercise you are bound to get rid of some of it. They are just fat cells that have gotten fatter.

Creams only swell your skin so that you don't notice it. It is just a temporary fix.

I totally understand what you are going through. I had cellulite as well when I was overweight. But after losing most of it, and getting to a healthy weight, the cellulite remained. I then purchased many products (most of which failing) to remove this cottage cheese crap. I saw the Tyra show and many women there, skinny and overweight, used Nivea! And it worked for all of them. So out on a limb, I went and got the patches, cream and pills, IT WORKED!!!!!!!!! I highly suggest you should purchase this product.

I am having my second child now and I'm 36, but back in younger years I was 5'1 and 105 lbs. I had cellulite since about 20 years old. I would work out at the gym religously and the cellulite never went away. It wasn't horrible back then but it was there. As the years go on it seems to be getting worse, probably since I don't exercise as much. I think if you exercise it wont go away, but it will make your chances of it not getting worse. I've tried every cream out there, don't waste your money they don't work.

Cellulite does not go away, but you can diminish it's appearance by doing high impact exercises. Cellulite is fat globules - the only way to get rid of it is to break it down into smaller fat globules. (That's why you need high impact exercises.)

Hello there...to get to your answer..... you have a chance at possibly REDUCING cellulite, but professional aesthetic services are needed to help the appearance of cellulite. Cellulite can be hereditary and can effect thin, average, and overweight women. Technically, cellulite is water-logged fat cells primarily found on the back of your thighs and rear. Diet and excercise may reduce it but you would need to go in to an extensive salon or office that offers deep, penetrating treatments to help smooth out the cellulite. They can be very costly and some are only temporary. Endermology and mesotherapy are a couple of procedures offerred. A quick and temporary fix (several hours) would be an ingredient containing caffeine. It visibly helps the appearance for that time being. Good Luck!!

I am 5'6'' and only 125lbs and I have it!!!!! :'( I think it is genetic and you can't get rid of it.

Research shows that cellulite is connected to a person’s genetic make-up. This means if a person’s parents have cellulite, they possibly will also.

This also means that it is waste of money if we spend lots of money on cellulite treatments that will not work. At present there is no cellulite treatment available in the market that will get rid of cellulite forever. But there are things one can do to reduce the appearance of cellulite.

Once you begin to move beyond basic background information, you begin to realize that there's more to cellulite treatment than you may have first thought.

Cellulite may spread to other parts of the body including legs, back, and upper arms. A person may feel terrible about themselves when this occurs. There are a few ways to help this condition, however.

Cellulite Treatment - Diet And Exercise
Although diet and exercise cannot get rid of cellulite completely, they can help reduce the appearance of cellulite. When a person is in shape, their body is more firm and their skin glows. This can detract from cellulite on the thighs and backside.

When a person is healthy, they feel better about themselves and are less critical when it comes to their bodies. A healthy outlook on life reduces the appearance of cellulite because the cellulite will no longer be a concern.

Healthy Anti cellulite Diet
Eating foods that are high in Calcium, protein, and fiber is another way to reduce the appearance of cellulite. This will help a person have healthy looking skin. This might help keep the bumps caused by cellulite from looking too noticeable.

A healthy diet will give a person more energy. Combine this with exercise and cellulite will be forgotten about. Living a healthy lifestyle will take some of the stress off of having a perfect body. Cellulite may continue to develop, but it will be less of an issue.

Other Methods For Dealing Cellulite
Covering up cellulite is one way people deal with it. Another way is to try different treatments involving lasers, massage therapy, cellulite creams, cellulite lotions, and suction techniques. While the effect might be instant, the results do not last long.

Maintaining cellulite free skin can be costly. Insurance companies do not cover these types of procedures. Multiple treatments are non-stop. For those who have the money, they can enjoy on-going treatments.

But for most people, it is not worth going bankrupt for. Learning to live with cellulite is the only way to enjoy life. Eating healthy has many benefits which incorporate reducing the appearance of cellulite.

A person will feel better, be able to have more energy to pursue their goals and be able to enjoy more foods. Cellulite will not seem like a big problem anymore for most people if they eat wisely and exercise regularly.

Once cellulite begins it will not go away. Cellulite will continue to make some people’s lives miserable until the gene that causes the production of cellulite is discovered. Take time to consider the points presented above. What you learn may help you overcome your hesitation to take action

Excercise and weight loss help considerably. Some creams can help reduce the appearance of it (it will never get rid of it). Your only other alternative is liposuction. Otherwise you will probably have some for the rest of your life.

Try buying a massage brush and do cirucular motions on the cellulite. Alot of people get cellulite i even have it on backs of my legs but i have tried that and it helps, It is still visable a bit..

i've heard that there is NO way to remove cellulite, but there are ways to make cellulite less visible temperarily..

like to make it less visible, you can use special creams or lotions specially formulated to make cellulite less visible. but again, its only temperarily, and if you stop using them, your cellulite will be as visible as ever.

Love, I have to be honest and tell you that cellulite is one of those cruel facts of life that we all face. Men get grey hair or lose our hair and get big bellies, while ladies get cellulite. We're not all that good at using aesthetic procedures to get rid of cellulite (anymore than we are at curing male pattern baldness). It's part of getting older.

But here's the thing: people tend to be way more self-conscious about their bodies than they ought to be. The things that you see as really unattractive are likely seen as completely no big deal to others, so please don't get all hyped up about the petty stuff. We all get older, none of us particularly like the changes associated with aging, but such is life, and we all have to accept it.

I have a similar problem. Even when I'm what I consider "thin," I tend to have cellulite. I started working out and eating right, and although that helps, the most effective thing that I've found to work is the Nivea cream. You can buy it at Target or Walgreens, it's called anti-cellulite gel.

yes, eat correctly and exercise

I have heard of using supergreens to help
but the most effecitve is

Nivea body Good-bye Cellulite Gel-Cream
"Nivea body Good-bye Cellulite Gel-Cream visibly reduces the appearance of cellulite.

How does it work?
L-Carnitine is a substance which is naturally present in the skin. It is known to be involved in the fat metabolism – more specifically it supports the conversion of fat components into energy. A sufficient amount of L-Carnitine in the skin is therefore beneficial.

Nivea Research has made L-Carnitine available in a gel-cream: Nivea body Good-bye Cellulite.
Additionally this gel-cream formula has a cooling effect which leads to an activation of blood circulation.

Thus: regularly used the Nivea body Good-bye Cellulite Gel-Cream leads to a visible reduction of the appearance of cellulite at the respective body parts.

After 2 weeks the skin is noticeably toned
and smoothened.
After 4 weeks the signs of cellulite on the
skin are visibly reduced."

from their website, i have the link below

Continue eating healthy and exercising. Alkalize your body. There are a lot of products that can help to alkalize your body, one is called supergreens. google it.

There is a massive billion-dollar industry of anti-cellulite treatments, and Dr. Oz says all of the treatments—from creams and balms to procedures like rolling and smacking—have one thing in common: They don't really work. "You can't put a cream on and get inside the fat cell," he says.
