If you were overweight: I don't think you could loose 40, but look up this site: http://www.nowloss.com/lose-10-pounds-2-weeks.htm to see if you wanna try one of these. Still it should be only start of to life of healthy eating and exercising, or you'll gain it all and more back. Plus even if you could loose 40 lbs. in 2 weeks your skin would look all saggy... you don't want that.
But if you don't look overweight and don't feel that way: forget about the scales and be happy, think you might just have some strong heavy bones, that'll help you fight osteoporosis when you get old!

It might be your bone structure. If you are athletic, this will also be the reason why your weight is a little high. Muscle weighs more than fat. Please don't feel the need to be super thin. Set yourself a realistic goal, one that will make you healthier and more in shape. Losing 40 pounds in 2 weeks is very risky. (and impossible) Work on loving your body and in doing that you will realize that becoming too thin will do more harm than good. Good luck with everything!

I don't know for sure why you need to do it in two weeks...but I hope my answer'll help you anyway.
First, you need to set realistic goals. Personally, I work out around 2 to 4 times a day 6 days a week and I hardly lose 1 pound in one week. So, sorry but 40 lbs in 2 weeks doesn't sound very possible. REALISTIC GOALS
Now, let's discuss your eating habits. Do you eat breakfast? If you don't, you should. Breakfast is the one thing that starts your metabolism. Metabolism is how you burn calories. If you don't eat breakfast, you can't burn calories and you can't lose weight. So, make sure you eat three meals a day, and possibly a snack of 150 calories or less in the afternoon, and if you're hungry, in the morning too.
Do you eat healthy? I'm probably not the best person to talk about this. But it's really easy to go research on how to eat healthy...No junk food, no soda. Don't drink caffeine. Watch your sugar intake. Look at the nutritional tables on the food you eat. Avoid enriched flour, things that are over 150 calories (unless it's a giant portion of your meal), sugar. If you find the words "encriched flour", "glucose," "sucrose," or anything that rhymes with "gross" in the ingredients, do NOT eat it. I know that sounds sort of elementary, but it's true...

Now, EXERCISE. That I can tell you a lot about. For safety reasons, make sure you warm-up and stretch as well as cool down after. Don't abruptly stop after the workout, otherwise you might get sick. You probably know not to exercise right after you eat. I usually wait 30 minutes for digestion...
Drink a lot of water. Divide your body weight by two, and that's how many ounces of water you should be drinking a day.
When you're exercising, everytime you get better and better, and everytime you should push a little harder. However, do not overwork yourself. Know your physical limits.

Here is a list of TYPES OF PHYSICAL ACTIVITY you should be doing:
1. Moderate-intensity Physical Activities (like walking, climbing stairs, gardening, walking a dog, cleaning) - half an hour a day.
2. Aerobic Activities (like cycling, brisk walking, running, dancing, sports) - 3 to 5 days a week
3. Anaerobic Activities (like biceps curl, push-ups, abdominal curl, bench press, calf raise, shoulder press) - 2 to 3 days a week
4. Flexibility Activities (like side lunge, step stretch, hurdler stretch, calf stretch, yoga) - 2 or more days a week

Now, to lose weight, if I were you, I would probably focus on the Aerobic Activities (number 2). They help you lose weight more. However, everything in that list is not only for you but for everyone. Those are the recommended physical activities to stay fit and healthy.

What? Sorry, but you CANNOT lose 40 lbs in 2 weeks! Um...I guess you could TRY running, jumping, basic excersises and stretches, healthy food and not a lot of T.V. but I don't think you'll be able to do it. Besides, you're too young for dieting in my oppinion.

You can't lose 40 lbs in 2 weeks. That isn't possible or even healthy to do that. you can probably lose 5-10 pounds in 2 weeks. Just take one day at a time. Be careful

thats a kind of extreme to lose 40 lbs in 2 weeks. but you can lose about 3 min and 6 max a week. just try to eat healthy meals with the right portions. vegetables really help. and just exercise regularly. 3-5 times a week and that should really help. good luck

well thats not possible 2 or not healthy to lose 40lbs in two weeks its a gradual process to lose weight, and a person of your age should not worry you still have baby fat dont worry about it rite now but maybe u should exercise more and maybe it healthier like instead of fried chicken eat baked and when goin 2 a fast food restaurant pick wiser things to eat...not to worry it will all balance out as you get older

Some of your weight maybe muscle weight. You can't lose that much in 2 weeks. Be happy if you lose 1 to 4 lbs. a week. Do an exercise you like. Be consistent. Walking, aerobics, and dancing are fun to lose weight. Tone with pilates or stomach crunches, push-ups, squats, lunges, and leg lifts. Educate yourself on nutrition and exercise. Stay away from sugary foods and sodas, and eat more fruits and vegetables and salads. Remember also you are young and growing still, so don't skip meals and get plenty of healthy food. Everyone has a different body type which changes during the teen years, so accept yourself and take care of yourself. From Experienced Weight Controller!

cut your calorie count. forbreakfast lunch and dinner only eat just fruit or veggies. i suggest bananas and watermelon. watermelons just water and Celery doesnt have barely any calories. Eat meat but in little portions so you have your protein . Drink lots and lots of water and you should lose alot. Walk a mile a day gradually pick up the pace when you get used to it but i recommend doing it in the morning when you wake up and at night before you go to sleep
hopefully it will work out for you. Just keep confident that it will work

You can't lose that much weight in that short period of time, sorry. Your body just can't do it.

You need to eat right, lots of fruits and veggies and excercise. To lose weight, you need to burn more calories than you're taking in. Talk to your doctor about appropriate nutrition for your age. Or go see a diatician.

there is no healthy way to loose 40 pounds in 2 weeks. and even if you were to do it, once you get off your diet or pill or whatever it was that made you loose that weight, you will gain back what you lost extremely fast and then some.

So I would advise you to eat healthy, reduce your daily calorie intake and do tons of cardio. Thats the best way to loose weight and keep it off!

Eat ONLY raw greens. Drink lots of water. Go running every day (twice if you can). Do sit-ups while watching tv. DONT CHEAT!!!!! If you want to drop the weight you cant cheat.

You can not do it without risking serious health issues. Fifteen pounds of that is possible through exercise and diet. In two weeks and that is a stretch. Re-evaluate your definition of beauty. If you look thin and do not look overwieght then you are not overweight. Are you involved in any sort of physical activities? It sounds like you are. That height and weight you discribe is that of someone who has a lot of muscle mass. Muscle always weighs more then fat. Or, you could be in denial. Anyhow be careful about weight loss.

two weeks? Impossible without lipo. I got regualr beatdowns in boot camp for two months and I only lost 11 pounds. Of course, I lost 6" from my waist. Don't rush yourself. Change your eating habits and your diet and exercise but don't push yourself or you'll end up with a stress injury like shin splints. Educate yourself before you do permanent damage to your body.

You can't. It's impossible to lose 40 pounds in two weeks unless you starve yourself. However I would NOT recommend that.

Begin now to be conscious about being healthier and more moderate in what you eat and don't have unrealistic expectations for yourself. Love your body no matter what it looks like.

Im sorry, loosing 40lbs is completely possible (with alot of hard work and proper eating) But loosing that much weight in the matter or 2 weeks is almost impossible. However, to start your weight loss, the most simple thing to remember is that a proper weight loss routine is 80% diet and 20% phyiscal activity.

A safe rate of weight loss is between 2 and 2.5 pounds per week...so 40 pounds in 2 weeks is not humanly possible...but if you eat better and exercise, you might lose 4, and that's a start...

Hate to break it to you, but you can't. If you want to lose that much weight, it's going to be a long-term project. An ideal weight for a girl your height and age would be 100-120 lbs.
