I tried to work out every day for 45 minutes, but it ended up being a consistant 3 days per week for 45 minutes to 1 hour and 20. I ran/walked/ran on the treadmill (called "interval training") for 20-30 minutes. I lifted weights on the machines and then I did easier cardio on the bike or elliptical for the remainder of the time. Warming up by stretching and riding the bike or walking slowly on the treadmill is important, too. I joined Weight Watchers after being a skeptic for many years. It worked! I lost about 15 lbs and then I got pregnant. I changed bad cooking and eating habits. I served plates of food to my family and if they wanted seconds, they'd have to get them because I put the food away otherwise I would keep eating spoonfulls for nothing! I would eat about 1/3 of my food and wait 20 minutes... it takes that long for your brain to get the message that you're no longer starving. I printed pictures of body models who inspired me like J-Lo, Heidi Klum, Halle Berry and Catherine Zeta Jones and taped them inside of my closet. I participated in inches and pounds loss and a discussion at http://www.f-heit.com and lastly, I bought Oxygen magazine and vowed to look like if not better than those girls some day. I'm gonna get right back into it after baby is born!!! Good luck and Godspeed to you! Oh yeah, and sugar is the enemy so do food substitutions: Splenda instead, Egg Whites instead of eggs, less bread, no potatoes, et cetera. Treat yourself but be honest, too.

Yes I've lost 30lbs, and still have a long way to go, I say eat more vegetables and less meat, try to cut out you sodium intake, and stay away from fast food, and caned food they're loaded with sodium, and try to walk for 30 minutes a day!

It is mostly NOT your fault, if you need to lose weight. The way you have been taught to eat is responsible for making obesity the number one health problem in the world (according to Atlantic Monthly magazine) replacing hunger and infectious disease. You need to re-learn how to eat so you can become thin. Not a diet, but diet lifestyle.

Find out about fastest way to lose weight, gradual ways to lose weight, most effective exercise and anti-water. Lose bodyfat and retained water which also makes you a lot fatter (bloated). Most important-- make sure to read the last "fat loss tip", first before anything else, to see the number one food that causes Americans to be fat.

I lost weight by going to uni and not having enough money to buy food! I lost about 3 stone in my first year. But I have put on a stone since I have been with my boyfriend (ah, comfort weight!). But my clothes still fit me, so I suspect some of it is muscle... oh, who am I kidding!? ;_;

Anyway, the best way to lose weigh is to have a balanced diet, and exercise for 30 minutes, at least four times a week. It is also a good idea to not eat crisps, chocolate, sweets and alcohol, or if you do, only have a little as a treat. You don't really need to go for the low fat substitutes if you stick by this. To curb sweet cravings, try eating fruit rather than candy, and invest in some vanilla fragrance to curb any chocolate cravings you might have.

The best exercise is swimming. A lot of people find it enjoyable, and you get an all-over workout without any pressure on your joints, so it's good for older people, or those who have rheumatism.

Remember, only lose weight for YOUR benefit, not because other people say you should! Best of luck! :)

I lost lots of weight by running everyday in the morning. The best way to lose weight is being committed and determined eating healthfully. Do not use those diet pills. They won't work and you will end up regaining the weight lost and then some. No pain, no gain if you want to lose weight.

Yes. I lost 25 pounds by basically using some commen sense and a by making a conscience decision to do something. It's not necessarily about eating less, its about eating smarter. Don't eat garbage, period. And count calories on everything. I limited myself to 500-600 calorie meals. But if I ate only 300-400 for breakfast then I could have more for lunch. I simply cut out anything with added sugars and trans. fats. Also, I ran on a treadmill for 20 minutes a day or every other day. It goes pretty fast while I watch a TV show.

Lost 65 Lbs. in 7 months. Key for me was to find foods I could eat to lose, and excersize I could do regularly. I found more success in reducing meal size and eliminating fats rather than starving or overdosing on salads. For me, walking was my exercise (4-5 miles daily) while listening to tunes.

Try to cut out all the sugar from your diet that you can. If you are going to drink soda, drink diet. Work-out. When you eat meals, eat smaller portions, but have healthy snacks during the day. Most people eat to feel full, and our bodies actually don't need that. Also drink water, that helps a lot!!! Green Tea isn't bad either (but no sugar).

Being completely serious here: This diet is probably NOT suggested, but it works wonders.
I dont eat breakfast, for lunch at noon i have a lean turkey sandwich on wheat bread with light mayo. Between every bite i have a drink of ice cold water. at 4 I have a peach. for dinner & I try to eat this no later than 8 but no earlier than 7 I have a salad with that balsamic vinagrette fat free stuff that only has 5 calories per 2 tbsp, with grilled chicken. In between every bite have a drink of ice water. It will make you feel full. It really works. Ive been doing this since june 1'st and Ive lost weight, and I look amazing. COMPLETELY amazing!!!

Oh, sweetie, have I ever lost weight, I'm like a yo-yo, been up and down. I am at a fairly good weight for my height now. Forget any specific diets, boring and you want stick to it for long, and you gain everything you've lost, plus some. This is what works for me. Lean meats, either broiled, or baked, plenty of veggies, and fruits, and cut way back on diet sodas. Add some walking, and biking, 3 to 4 days a week, and that's that! It's something you can live with, and you will loose weight, and be healthy!......:) and drink water 6-8 glasses a day.

Yes I did! 55 pounds to be exact! Try a cleansing diet! I tried this and lost 10.5 pounds and 17 inches in 9 days. Then I continued it and lost 25 pounds in 5 weeks. This program works to remove the toxins in the body that are stored in the fat cells. You cannot get rid of the fat cells unless you get rid of the toxins. We get toxins from pesticides, preservatives, fast food additives, chemicals, pollution, smoke etc… I have been on Jenny Craig, Weight Watchers, Medifast and Atkins.
