Yes, it does. Keep it up and you may not see it quick but, in a long term you will thank yourself for your hard training.

Well, it is said that weight bearing activities strenghtens bones. Weight training is definately one of the various activities that does this. Bones grow with the aid of vitamins, minerals, and physical activity.

yes indeed it does, as she said down there/ it stretches out your ligiments and that causes the growth time expectancy to take longer than your body and your hormones intended.

My son is nephew took up weight training since he was 12 and now hes 15, he looks grat and is probably double as strong than me, and i weight train too

Anyways the point is, if you do things like competitve weight lifting, yes it will, if you just do it casually whule not puttting pressure on your growth plates (mostly your joints) and stretch then it should be ok.

yes it effects the way your body grows if your body isnt fully develop it can affect your growth and height

Exercise is recommended for all ages. But heavy weight training is not recommended until the growth years of early teens. Easy does it at first and keep at it on a regular schedule.

It doesn't affaect your height but it will your growth.Thats the whole purpose of working out to gain growth.

First of all, how old are you? If you have not gone through puberty yet, or are not fully through it, then you shouldn't be lifting. You can get shoulder injuries, and too much lifting would affect how much more you grow. If you end up growing more at all. If you really want to build up those arm muscles, try using light dumb bells, but doing a lot of repetetive work with them. Absolutely NO bench pressing.

Weight training does not effect your growth. Your genetics all ready decide that for you. The reason why you hear that weight training stops growth is because in the late 1800's early 1900's the weightlifters of that time were considered strange, so the kids liked what they saw so they wanted to do the same thing so what the parents did was to scare them and tell them if they lift weights they won't grow or stay short for the rest of there lives. I started bodybuilding when I was 12 and I'm almost 6 feet.
