Am I allergic to light?
Whenever I move from a dark place to a lighter place, I sneeze. Whether I'm going outside into sunlight of if I just turn on a light. Am I allergic to light?

That's entirely possible. There are individuals that will sneeze upon walking outdoors into direct sunlight. From my understanding there is no cure. Call a pharmacists they my give a pretty good suggestion as to how to conquer this problem. Calling a doctor my take to long.

If you are allergic to light most likely the symptoms will not manifest as sneezing but in your skin. Make sure that when you are moving from places there are no other things that can cause you to sneeze, for example, strong fragances, pollen, pets hair, cigarette smoke, dust, etc they are most likely to cause sneezing

S P
no you are not allergic. If you were you would be deathly sick with welts and skin problems.

No you are not allergic. Your eyes are just sensitive and it triggers the sneezing reaction. I have that when ever I go out into sunlight.

Mary N
No, you are not "allergic to light". some children do have this very rare problem, but it results in blistering and early skin cancers as well as other problems. I bet you have light color eyes. People with blue, green or hazel eyes will often sneeze as bright sunblight hits the eye. Just put your sunglasses on before you step outside. helps prevent later wrinkles around the eyes from squinting as well.
