I think an alien has implanted a slow growing life form deep into your leg. To be safe you should cut the leg off. This is the only way to ensure that the Antichrist is not living in your leg!!! |

GO TO THE DOCTOR!!! IF THERE IS ANYTHING ABNORMAL ON YOUR BODY AND ESPECIALLY IF IT HURTS YOU, YOU SHOULD SEE A DOCTOR. TO ME IT SOUNDS LIKE STAPH INFECTION. AND I KNOW MANY PEOPLE DON'T WANT TO SEE DOCTORS BECAUSE IT MAY BRING IN REALITY THAT SOMETHING IS WRONG. ITS BETTER TO KNOW SOON AND BE ABLE TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT THAN FIND OUT TOO LATE!!! |

Well if it is a pefect circle it is not cancer. Keep it disinfected and go see your Doctor. It may just be a mole that you have been picking at. If it is rock hard with no feeling your doctor needs to rule out cancer. |

How long have you had this lump.... if it has been for over a week and is causing a lot of discomfort then I would say yes, visit a GP! |

Go to your GP to be safe. Could be some type of spider bite, which you would want to get checked.
It will probably turn out to be nothing though. |

Yes, absolutely go to the doc. It may just be a cyst, but better for them to test it to make sure. |

I'm not a dermatologist, bur sometimes we can grow bumps on our skin. I told my wife once, " Well hon, looks like I'm growing another tree stump." The Doctor told me not to worry about it. But maybe you should go get it checked out. Make sure it's not canserous. |

I believe that you may have a condition called Hidradenitis Supprativa. It is a condition of re-occurring boils/ cysts/abscesses , that are often misdiagnosed as ingrown hairs, herpes, being unclean and folliculitis. This is a newly diagnosed skin condition , but there is a lot of info out there.
Here is a link :
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hidradeniti...
If this sounds like it might be you, READ it, PRINT it out, and TAKE it to your DOC.
Its better to try to start treatment soon, it can spread over the body if left untreated. These boils can become quite large and painful. Sometimes even lasting for weeks or months , do not attempt to POP them they can then tunnel under your skin and spread all over the body. Most common areas are armpits, groin, binkni line, inner legs, and intimate places and basically anywhere that sweats and rub against clothing. Stress is a big inducer.
There is some support groups at MSN
(http://groups.msn.com/HidradenitisSuppor...
and yahoo, and I am open for questions!
I have had this for 8 years, I was misdiagnosed for a LONG time, It was very embarrassing, painful and scary. I am just trying to help out so you don’t have to wait as long as I did. |
