It is a wart and not painfull so you you do not see it or blocks you from peeing you could have it for years.
chylamidia is very serious with sometimes no symptoms and can make your tubes scarred and unable to become pregnant. I know a few people who are sterile because of chlamydia and men are more likely to have burning and discharge then women from STD's
It is possible to have an entirely asymptomatic infection and still be able to spread the disease.
whatever the answer it can't be good. i believe it can be symptom free for a long time, but get checked it could make you infertile if leave it. And not to mention the risk of infecting someone else
YEARS AND YEARS SORRY
It will take you months or years and more... It actually varies from one person to another. Chlamydia is a silent STD... leaving it untreated will give you more susceptibility to acquire HIV if exposed. By the time you discover it, the damage is already there. Better be safe than sorry.
Chlamydia can remain asymptomatic in a person for years. This is why it is so prevalent in the UK at the moment.
Now every time a woman goes for a smear test they routinely swab for chlamydia to try and reduce the incidence.

It's frequently asymptomatic throughout the entire infection. It's hard to know how long an infection lasts and truly, no one knows because in humans, we don't tend to leave people untreated long enough to find out. Even in treated cases, reinfection is not uncommon. In untreated cases, spontaneous clearance generally occurs in a few months. But there is some evidence that it can last for longer.
There has been one case report of it lasting for a year in a man.
