Raw throat from coughing so much?
Ive had a cold for about two weeks now,and mid-cold I got the flu.
I have been coughing so so much that my throat is BURNING and completely raw.
Its like 3:00 am and I cant sleep because the pain in my throat is so intense.
Its not a regular soar throat,im sure its because the coughing.
So does anyone know anything I can do,so I can get some rest?
(And I cant take anymore cough medicine)

Just some remedies that will soothe it?
I would appreciate it so much.

You can try gargling salt water (the salt will cauterize the abrasions on your throat). Or try breathing in some steam. Taking a pain reliever can help, too. Drinking tea (avoid milk, it'll add to your phlegm) or taking a bath help too.

Feel better!
