Is it possible to get a free peak flow meter?
I've been looking at prices of peak flow meters, and in stores I can only find meters that are $35 at the cheapest. I'd rather pay less than $30 for one--I've found them online for $15.50, but I don't have a credit card.

Does anyone know where/how to get a free peak flow meter without prescription? My doctor told me to do readings if I wanted to, but didn't prescribe me a meter because my asthma is relatively mild-although it's still not in control.

get another doc, if the will not do an asthma action plan. Often the pulmonologist, have free ones from the pharm companies.

Good luck

I am a respiratory therapist and i would give ya one from the hospital if i could. The only thing i can think of is if you know a nurse or someone who works in a hospital see if they would ask a respiratory therapist for one. I cant believe they cost that much.
