Having trouble sleeping can anyone help?
I am having trouble going to sleep. I work all day long and have to get up at 6 AM every day. When I get off work I work out finish y school work and clean up. I get ready for bed and cant fall asleep. I can be exhausted and get in bed and not be able to fall asleep. I have tried everything and it is starting to take a toll on my body not getting any sleep. Can anyone help?

drink cough medicine 3hrs before you go to bed.

Try looking into taking Melatonin... It has helped me with jet lag and disrupted sleeping patterns. It does something to the pineal gland in the brain to keep hormone levels regular... my bottle says to take 30 mins before going to sleep. It works like a charm. also if you wake up often or if you wake up early and are wide awake (within 1 hour of the time you are scheduled to wake up) don't go back to sleep get up and it will force your body to adjust.

when i cant sleep i hop in the car and drive without music so i just focus on the road until i feel sleepy, but i kinda lap around within 2 miles so when i get sleepy i can make it home

If itt's really that drastic, go see a doctor and have him/her prescibe a legal sleeping pill for you. However, for natural remedies, you can watch a boring news channel until you find yourself dozing off [make sure it's anything not funny nor scary, as these might wake you up more], read anything boring [a foreign dictionary, some business junk] until you find your eyes too heavy.

i usually listen to some tunes before bed. helps me.

make sure you get good & full at dinnertime
or whenever you get ready to go to sleep
have a snack or a glass of something to eat..

Do what makes you comfortable. Have a snack, listen to soft music, drink warm milk, or just shut your eyes for a realllly long time.

it's not the best thing to do, but i find going for a midnight walk helps me to sleep and is a great way to get things off my mind

i'm tired right now but i'm still on yahoo answers! lol

but, hmm, what i used to do was go to sleep w/ my mp3 with the music on low volume----if it's too loud, you're gonna wake up within 3 to 4 hrs!

if u can't sleep even tho u r tired, mayb u hav too many things on your mind. maybe come up w/ the things u want to get done tomorrow and make a list of it

or u can practice meditating or yoga. relax the mind first before u can rest the body!

don't forget to set your alarm clock!

first relax stretch ur body on the bed drink a hot chocolate or anything else hot and then close ur eyes and think about something u like or count tell 100 and u will find ur self a sleep i hope that help oh and wear a comfortable clothes when u sleep and take all the things of ur mind
