Check with your doctor to regulate your medications. but I know that with my daughter, who is a severe asthmatic, we put her on a inhaled steroid daily treatment plan and then her outbreaks went way down.

If you find that you are caught short without your inhaler, try to keep calm (easier said than done!) and concentrate on breathing deeply and slowly. If you're not improving ask someone to call a doc asap. Always worse in pollen season but best if you see a doc and get allergy testing done. Stay well. x

I also have asthma , you may need to do like me and have a Nebulizer to keep at home and always walk with you inhaler and any other meds the doctor would give you for the asthma , when you have asthma that is your life line.

You can also go online and read lot of literature on your illness, that helps also , make sure you have it under control not that controlling you. Take you inhaler everyday at least twice a day depending on how bad your asthma is.

Think about it and please be careful

keep ur enhaler handy.......it could be the area u live in that can cause more attacks........also it is pollen season so i know thats not helpin it any........wish ya well

you have to drink orange the with cinnamon and 2 drops of your own urine, all mornings before breakfast

you will get better

Using an inhaler will help with the attack when it's going on. Taking allergy medications of you have allergies will sometimes help prevent an attack.

see a specialist

If its really bad you should consider cleaning your bed clean every day, keeps material stuff in ur house low like curtains.. or keep them clean. Get rid of pets or keep them clean. try changing carpet to laminated/wood flooring if u have carpet ofcourse.

well duh. go to the doctor and he'll perscribe you an inhaler and a perscription if it's bad enough.

Believe it or not, boil a couple leaves of Marijuana bush, and drink it like a tea each morning at breakfast, and then in the evening before going to bed. It is also handy to walk with a small paper bag, that you can breathe in and out of, holding the mouth of the bag.

I am sure you are under the care of a doc. There are some things you can do to help.Avoid extreme activity in very hot or very cold weather. No carpet in house.Air purifiers in the home.No animals in the house.Stay out of the woods(mold) Take your medication as prescribed.Expect an asthma attack when you begin an upper respiratory infection or "cold" Has you parents taken you to an EENT doc to have you checked for allergies.

The thing that worked best for me was getting my allergies under control. For me that means taking an antihistimine (Claritin generic) every day and using an Advair inhaler every other day when my allergies and asthma are bad.

You should go see a doctor because every asthma attack does damage to your lungs.

MOST OF THE INHALATORS DID NOT WORK FOR ME. THEN, MY DOCTOR INTRUCED ME TO A STRONGER ONE THAT WORKED, ALMOST IMMDEDIATELY. SYMBICORT 2006MCG. ITS TECHNICAL NAME IS BUDESONIDE/FORMOTEROL. I NEARLY PASSED OUT FROM THE CLOSING OF THE PASSAGES, RECENTLY. SYMBICORT WORKED IMMEDIATELY!

ALLEGRA-D HAS REALLY HELPED, AS WELL. HOPE THIS HELPS!

you know, inhalers never really helped me. You should keep one around in case of an emergency, but don't rely on it or you might end up having to use inhalers life long. My mom taught me when I was 5 years old how to use meditation to help free my airways; I would basically breathe in and out slowly, conciously, creating imagery in my head of my airways opening with every breath, releasing all the tension. It worked for me every time, and now I don't even have asthma anymore. But do keep an inhaler around for emergencies.
