Difficulty Breathing?
I'll try to explain....I quit smoking 4 months ago and haven't looked back. I am a nanny for twin baby girls so I'm constantly running around and up stairs all day. I'm not lazy or out of shape either. My problem is that very recently my breathing has gotten more difficult. I'm winded just walking up stairs, or going to check the mail. I can't take very deep breathes so it feels like I'm not getting enough oxygen. I have to struggle a great deal in order to breath better. Its so bad that I am tired just after changing clothes. Other people have noticed me breathing hard just when I'm standing up. I'm really tired too. I have stomach ulcers...not sure if that has any connections. I'm not on any medications, except for the ulcers. I can function and do everything fine....I'm not missing work for this. Any suggestions????

You should really see a doctor.

Are you getting the correct nutrition? sounds funny but .Can lead to reduced immune system getting bronchitis easily.

This is BAD......its either the lung infection or on a verge of a Cardiac problem.... PLEASE SEE A DOCTOR IN PERSON IMMEDIATELY

It's the smoking that makes you like this. I have a lot of smokers in my family and when my grandma quit she has difficulty breathing also. If your breathing gets worst you should check into getting an oxygen tank or take some time off work to rest up.

I had the same thing so off to the doctors.
A couple of inhalers and a few pills and what a big difference.
Don't leave it to late. Get something done NOW...

I would go to a doctor. Difficulty breathing can be very serious.

I would first of all suggest going to the doctors - you may feel like it's not worth it but that's what they're there for, and especially seems you have current medical problems. You could have asthma or maybe it's your diet or you could have a chest infection. Get to the docs though. Good luck

As for any suggestions go to yahoo or google and type in breathing exerciser. You can buy these little things, they are quite inexpensive, that exercise your lungs. It appears that your lungs are not working to anywhere near capacity. It is possibly some form of COPD which covers a wide range of ailments anywhere from asthma to emphasema.

Anyway the exerciser will do you no harm other than strengthen your lungs however you should get this checked out medically because the cause may be minor or it may not. I do not think your stomach ulcers have anything to do with the problem.

Good Luck!
