im 12. going to the 7th grade.

If your not already on birth control that usually helps a lot with mood swings and cramps. Also get some pamprin or other menstrual medication and you should be set!

i get the worst cramps ever it feels like i'll die or something
I take tylenol that helps and drink warm water ! ew ! but it helps lol !

answer my question plssssssss !

i used 2 have the same problem. One word "Pamprin"

KYO! ^_^
Get on birth control.
My aunt talked to me about it, & said that is would be my best friend when it comes to periods.
Or, just laugh a whole lot at school & it pretty much helps cramps.
Also, midol helps a lot & I have HORRIBLE cramps.

smiling cures
Motrin, Tylenol, all of that. Maybe Excidren if they are really that bad. Try to eat healthy I think it will help cramps. I'm lucky enough to barely ever get cramps, but my period is SO irregular it's crazy. Good luck :) Oh and if you have them in school and people ask whats wrong you can see your stomach is sore from working out or something lol.

couches <3
i have horrible pms too!!
i went on yaz because i just couldn't handle it anymore..
you only get a period every three months!

other than that, i used to take tylenol with some kind of caffeine like coffee or coke, maybe a caffeinated tea.
be sure to drink a ton of fluids during you period,
and eat whatever you crave, you'll just lose any weight you put on.

other than that, there's not much you can do.
put a heating pad on your belly for 15 minutes at a time, but don't go longer than that.

Have you tried OTC things like Midol? If not, give it a try. You might also get some of those stick on heating pads (they are thin disposible ones that go under your clothes), heat can help with cramps quite a bit.
If nothing else works, you need to see a doctor. They might want to put you on birth control pills to regulate hormones and prevent (or lesson), your simptoms. If for some reason that dosn't work (they would likely have you try a few different kinds if the first didn't work), or your parents will not let you take the pill, the Dr. might give you a Rx pain medication.

Over the counter drugs like aspirin or any products containing acetaminophen (Tylenol, Midol, Pamprin) are effective for milder cramps. There are also nonsteriodal anti-inflammatory drugs, or NSAIDs, that contain ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin), naproxen sodium (Aleve, Anaprox), or ketoprofen (Actron, Orudis KT) that help to lower the production of prostaglandin and therefore provide some relief.

* Fresh pineapple juice contains bromelaine – an enzyme that relaxes muscles.
* Ginger (in tea or ginger snap cookies) can block the effect of prostaglandin and also has anti-inflammatory properties.
* A diet high in zinc, calcium, and B vitamins can also reduce cramps. Keeping food on the stomach can also help to ease cramps. The body will devote more energy to digestion rather than cramping.

* A warm bath can help to relax the body. Stress and tension can make menstrual pain worse.
* Lying down in the fetal position
* Heating pad on the abdomen or back
* Low impact exercise like walking or swimming

What Can Worsen Menstrual Cramps?

Caffeine, dairy products, salt, and sugar can increase the possibility and severity of cramps. According to HealthMed.com, the Chinese also believe that cold foods add to menstrual pain.
What Works Best?

There are several options when it comes to relieving menstrual cramps. Every woman’s body is different and the cause of one woman’s cramps may not be exactly the same as another’s. Many women go thru a trial and error period of testing out different remedies in order to figure out what works best for them.

eat bananas

keep your diet under control during pms, eat a lot of calcium rich foods and avoid caffeine. czeck in a pharmacy for other products too. most are gimmicks though, watch out

My ex had issues with that, just take some pills. go online. ask your parents for some. birth control is slightly more drastic, but it works just as well, if not better.

srry , well heating pad at night might help

You could try to get on birth control. It helps to regulate your cycle and reduce the cramps and other symptoms of PMS. Talk to your doctor so that y'all can find a method that works for you.

advil. asprin. tylenol. not all 3 but choose one. haha. i feel bad for u i NEVER get cramps.

Natalie Yo Long To Put
take motrin.

have ur mom give u an asprin or pain pill before school.

drink lots of water

if it's really that bad, maybe you could take some advil or tylenol to deal with it. Some people even go on "the pill" (the birth control pill) to help them deal with their period.

Get yourself some midol. It has everything you need to get rid of cramps and such. If you need it right now, Advil, or Tylenol will work too.

If your pms is really really bad, you may want to talk to your doctor, there are some prescriptions they can give you to balance your moods when you have your period.

Teen Midol!!!! Best thing you could EVER invest in!! It's a mirical worker!!! I used to have cramps so bad that i couldn't even walk!!! My friend gave me some before practice and i forgot i was evan on my period!!! Definatley Try it!!!

You should try birth control. I'd recommend the shot (DEPO)
You don't get your period at all while on the shot
You have to get the shot every 3 months, but it doesn't hurt
You *might* get cramps when you first get the shot, or if you wait too long in between shots
For instance, I was supposed to get my next shot several days ago and now I have horrible cramps :s They'll go away once I get the shot again though.
