Well, since Im not an Opthomoligist, I'd go see one as possible. An Opthomoligst is an MD and Im sure he or she would be very intersted in your situation. |

It could be that your tear ducts are partially blocked and your eyes are getting dry throughout the night. Check with your optician and if that's the problem they will be able to prescribe drops to keep your eyes moist. Hope it clears up soon x |

I get the same thing. I know it is from dryness and it takes hours to go away.. They sting very badly... sometimes little stabbing pains. Actually, I think lengthy nights at the computer make them worse. |

You should pay a visit to your ophthalmologist as soon as possible. Your eyesight is a very precious thing. |

Sounds like severe hangovers, but, if they're not, I'd toddle along to my doctor. |

what sort of pain? Is it a stinging pain? Or stabbing, throbbing?
You should really get it checked out. It could be pressure on the optic nerves or it could be sthg wrong with the retina or it could be an allergy. Or even the tear ducts could be playing up. Dont leave eye problems to chance. Please get a check up. |

You asked about diabetes in an earlier question. Are you diabetic? You ought to look into diabetic retinopathy. This effects the retinal blood vessels. It is serious and can cause blindness. |
