Take melatonin, it is totally natural vitamin that helps dopamine (the hormone that makes you sleep) release easier so you sleep better

stay up all day and all nite and all day for 1 time when you have nothing to do, than when you go to sleep at the end of those two days and 1 nite, you will hit the sack, and nothing will wake you up. and you will never have a problem again.

try working out a few hours b-4 u go to bed to where your really tired... it should help.

have you had a health check up lately? maybe your thyroid is ot of whack! I would go to the doctor and have a physical incl blood work ask about your thyroid.

Cut out caffeine after 5pm. If you don't have an exercise routine then a little exercise might make you tired. If you're worried about something try to solve the problem because worrying can cause insomnia too.

I have the same problem and I have gone to a sleep clinic. They prescribed me Rozerem, which worked absolute wonders, but my insurance doesn't cover it so I can't afford it anymore. If I make sure I am more active during the day I sleep better at night and I also have to make sure I get a good dose of sunlight to keep my internal clock on the right schedule. I would recommend that you talk to your doctor because I friend of mine who had the same problem was actually having little seizures while she was sleeping and was diagnosed with MS.

how is your diet? No eating several hours before bed, don't skip breakfast, eat lots of fruit to get a natural sugar high during the day (lots of B vitamins!) Nuts and seeds are also good for energy.

if you're under 20, you need atleast 9.25 hours of sleep a night, try going to bed a little earlier. eat healyth foods during the day, and avoid caffiene, sugars, and chocolates as much as possible after 2 or 3 pm. my brother had the same had the same problem too, even with many sleep aids, until he tried melatonin, and it worked great for him. or perhaps your matress is not comfortable enough, or you need a temp. adjustment in your room.

Seems like I sleep better when I eat more, and exercise more. Plus going back to work has helped me. Now I have a hard time getting up in the morning.LOL.

Get blood work done to make sure everything is ok. Maybe you are anemic.

It breakfast in the morning. You will be surprised how much it helps. If you are waking up during the night something is probably bothering you. Try going to bed a little bit earlier and by a CD that will help you relax and play it with the volume low while you are trying to sleep. They have some CDs that help you rest at wal-mart by the candles.

First off perhaps get the thyroid tested, that causes tiredness...and rule out any medical reasons for it...
Otherwise, something must be upsetting you or you are not comfortable with something in your life...
I went through that alot, the over the counter stuff does not work for me either...so I just started to take a bath at night and drink chammoile tea, and after the bath Johnson and Johnson has the baby lotion that help reduce stress...it works it smells nice...and I also have a lavendar sache in my pillow..hope it works for you, I know not much help...but at least get looked at by the doctor...best of luck to you...

I would recommend you go see your doctor. maybe some b12 vitamin shot and some lunesta @ night for sleep.

I have the same problem. i know how to solve it, I just lack the motivation. You and I both are not getting enough daily physical activity. We need to go to the gym 1 hour a day, 4-5 times a week. We are doing the same things every single day. We need CHANGE. At least, that's what I think.

Go see your dr. If over the counters arent working you might need a prescription. Also take a multivitamin. It really helps me.
