Is drinking water when your not thirsty bad?(Drug test coming up)?
3 water bottles yesterday [.9oz.]
1 today [16.9 oz.]
(on the second one right now) [16.9oz.]

Stellar
Um no, water is good for you. You should always drink at least 64 fluid ounces a day.

Oh, and stop doing drugs.

No, I don't think its bad. Just dont drink TOO much.

...If you have money to spare go get a detox kit or drink lots of cranberry juice. that will halp more than the water will. And if you have smoked weed dont exercise prior to the test, because thc is stored in fat cells and will be released when you exercise.

Go to an herbal remedy store or a place like GNC or The Vitamin Shoppe. Tell them you have a "UA" (Uninalysis) you need to pass, they'll give you stuff to clean your system out way quick...drinking a buttload of water is going to do anything to help you pass.

You CAN die from drinking too much water, but you're not anywhere near that...we're talking multiple gallons a day will do damage.

No. Bottled water doesn't contain any harmful chemicals or stuff in it. Actually, the more you drink, the more you pee, and the more you pee the more weight you lose.

WELL THERE ARE CERTAIN DRUGS THAT DRINKING WATER WILL NOT HIDE

Blue Haired Old Lady
You should be drinking 64 ounces a day (8 - 8 oz glasses). It doesn't sound like you are drinking enough.

Drinking a lot of water won't help get pot out of your system, just so you know. It may help a little but not that much.

Drinking as much as 8 8oz glasses a day (64 oz) is okay, actually recommended.

Drinking too much water can definitely be dangerous but you had way less than 64 oz yesterday so you should be fine.

Brittany
No, of course not! Although, there is a such thing as drinking to much water, but it would have to be gallons.

3 water bottles is nothing...You need to drink a gallon a day to pass that test.

Actually, when you feel thirsty, that means you are already dehydrated... You should be drinking water all day. I think it's like 10 glasses a day.

Experts say that you should drink at least 8 glasses of water a day. It won't hurt your body to drink more water. If you have a drug test coming up...try to keep your sodium intake low. This could make most of the water stay in your body longer.

There are three important rules when it comes to drinking water:

Drink twice as much as it takes to quench your thirst.
Drink frequently throughout the day to prevent dehydration.
Drink at least eight glasses daily, or one cup for every 20 pounds of body weight. For example, a 150-pound person who does not exercise or work in hot climates needs 7.5 cups.

Drinking water won't harm you at all. I drink water every-day, usually after I eat or if I'm just thirsty.

I think it's okay to drink water, just don't like do it so much to the point where you can't handle it!

Not at all. Without water, we'd be dead. We're made of about 70% of water. So no, it isn't :D

you would have to drink well over a gallon of water to even start causing function problems. unless of course your kidneys don't function correctly. water is nearly 80% of the human anatomy so water is always blessed when it is being consumed ;)

Scarlett Icing
You can actually over-dose on water believe it or not, people have had to have their stomachs pumped due to drinking too much water. It won't flush the drug traces out of your system either if that's what you're thinking.

Stuart
You can drink as much water as you can hold. Your body is made up of mostly water, anyway.

And whatever it is you're trying to flush out of your system ... well, hope they don't do a hair sample test.

Well drinking plenty of water is good for you HEALTH wise as far as for the drug test, you need to be caught so that you can get some help in realizing drugs aren't good for at all.

No i don't think so.. :S

Lucky
that's not even close to the proper amount of water you are supposed to drink daily. you should be drinking at least 64 fl oz a day, and some say 128 fl oz a day. however, those won't help much with your drug test, if it's in your system, it's in your system.

Sweet Cherry [3.14]
you should actually be drinking about 8 glasses of water a day, so you can drink a lot more than you are currently drinking.

Pertaining to the Drug Test portion of your question, if you drink an insane amount of water [we're talking more than a gallon in one day], then your urine will raise a red flag on a drug test because it is too diluted. In this event, the lab will most likely fail you but give you the opportunity to retest.

no you can drink more than that.

drinking water is only bad when you drink it by the gallons and don't go to the bathroom
