Blind people cant see even enough for it to be black. They see a big nothingness. Its hard to explain. But thats the way it is.
If this is sudden, call your eye DR right away. You could end up SERIOUSLY blind. |

your not blind just stupid apparently open your eyes if you were blind you couldn't write that and could not make it through a day without help. finally blindness ranges if you are truly blind it will last forever. |

How did you read if everything is black? Did you told your mom to type what you said? If you really think your blind, tell your mom/dad/sis/bro or anyone thats in the house to help you go to the doctor... and see if your really blind... :) hope this helps |

Not sure how you managed to type OR expect the read responses if you're blind, so Im guessing that its a partial problem not a fully blind problem. Go to an opticial and have your eyes checked properly to see if there are any physical problems with your eyes. If you get the all clear go to a GP and have it explored further, it could be nothing or it could be something that can be fixed easily, instead of stressing and worrying take steps to ensure you get it looked into! |

Well first if you are serious then get to an eye doctor, and if you are not, this is nothing to joke about. I have woken up to not being able to see anything, not funny.
And to all the people who don't know how you could ask or see an answer. We the blind have lots of software that reads the text on computers to us. |

Typing is easy for blind people. You're not supposed to look at the keyboard anyway. I just wonder how you managed to click on the ask button. I hope you installed the screen reader software that comes with Windows before you went blind so you will know what all these people are saying.
P.S. Don't feel bad about being laughed at, if I saw you running into stuff, I would laugh at you too.
Oh, and I can explain the nothingness Kitty Mama mentioned. It's the same as the nothingness you see behind you when you look straight ahead. But that only applies to people who are born blind. Your visual cortex has learned to associate zero-level input values within your visual field as blackness. |
