Eye strain symptoms, what are they ?
I frequently have blurry vision and I have slight pain when I rotate my eye balls. Are they sign of eye strain ? Are they harmful ? What should I do ? Need suggestion.

A normal person should be able to move their eyeball within its constraints with no problem. The ability to move the eyeball should not be ignored. Its needed so that both eyes can work together harmoniously and that any image viewed is seen correctly in the brain.
To get a detailed sight of an object in front of you, its crucial that the eyeball works to line up the fovea part of the eye with the presented image. This provides the best viewing experience. Anything taken away from this will hamper things..

To understand the importance of the extraocular muscles feel free to view this 3 minute video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vd7OOJ7c1q4&feature=related

Its a simple 3D animation showing the eye in action. (nothing scary dont worry)

About it being harmful. Sure. Its not a normal state youre describing. Check that your body is not in bad state (tension-wise). That all the muscles in the body are in a relaxed state if not agitated. Also check that your mind is in a normal, positive state too.
Regarding the long-term, try and put yourself in a comfortable position.

blurry vision can be caused by refractive disorder, micro scratch on cornea, opacity in crystalline lens, disfunction on retina, prolem with the optic nerve and etc. etc..... (worst of all, multi - factorial)

Do not try to "sleep it off" your problem, I advise you to visit your optometrist /eye doctor asap for an general eye examination to rule out those serious problem.

eyes feel "achy", tired, blurry

frontal headache (behind eyebrows)

no none of those are "harmful", just annoying. your optometrist can probably help

Those might be the symptoms of eye strain. My sister has had the same problems. She was told that eye strain symptoms may include blurred vision, slight headache, pain in the eyeballs, pain when eyes are rotated and high light sensitivity. She dealt those problems with eye exercises and eye relaxation and saw the result in just a couple of days.
