I watched a scary movie couple days ago and after i just cant sleep, i'm noot like a normal kid, i'm jittery, very gloomy, i.. i hate it!, but This may help: I'm sorta young, and trust me, i'm not being a wimp and i dont think this is something a drug can help, ever since i had a dream where i was bit by a snake i can never sleep, i'm always jittery, i'm upset i was such a happy child! now i'm always skipping to conclusions and afraid of death i.. i just cant live with it anymore!!!!!!!

I had something similar happen to me, I installed massive locks on my doors and windows and searched my entire room every night and still could not sleep without freaking out (and normally I was not like this). Either power through it (Its what I did) just try to get the pessimistic attitude of "If I die in my sleep, I'll deal with it in the morning lol" and eventually your mind will just get bored of toying with your head and you will get over it.

Either that, or ask your parents for a medical marijuana licence. I know it sounds bad but sleeping is far easier with it.

Look at everything in life this way: What could happen? What will happen? What won't happen? If you have a weird feeling, figure out what is making you feel that way. Then asses it with the three questions....Could what im worried about happen? Will what I'm worried about for sure happen? What about what I'm worried about will NOT happen? Think through it, look around, realize that you have nothing to worry about. Hope that can help.

find ways to comfort you...read a book, write, make something so you can get your mind off of things. Also talk to your parents about it, there is a medican that you can take that can calm you down...my mom is afraid of plane rides and she takes it so it calms her.

I have da ja vue and that just blows my mind ... I just think about life and it is so crazy.. I think how did time start its soooo crazy.. there was never a beginning .. if there was a beginning what was before that.. I don't know if this helps.. but everytime i think about this i instantly feel great.. Just being here makes me think anything is possible.... plus i actually have dreams of the future.. witch to me seals the deal... this probably makes no sense to you.

You have to see these thoughts about fears and death and realize what these thoughts really are. You have to see them as ideas.

The problem with ideas is that they can build any illusion, not matter how impossible it may seem. And it can be done because they get you out of the present moment. Just try to do this to understand.

You will find that generally nothing is wrong. But the mind will always tell you something could go wrong, taking you out of this moment.

Notice that what ever problem you may THINK you have, its all in your head Bro. The nightmares, the thoughts, the fears, It's all in your head. So get out. Your Crazy, and you want a Crazy Solution to help you. Sorry but it doesn't exist. If you don't get out, you'll for Ever be like this. You'll never change, and stay afraid for the rest of your life. You want someone to tell you how it should be, but you'll never find it. No one will come to your rescue, no one with a cpr pack, Nothing. This is the truth........Got it... Good. now that we have this established lets talk about you. You're thoughts are out of control, and they need to be controlled. Or redirected. The fears in your mind, can only operate, and exist if you let them. You let them by how you position your body. The mind, body, and spirit are all connected, more closely would be the mind and body. The soul is different. Anyways, when you feel afraid look at your posture, I'm going to guess its bad. You slouch, you don't look people in their eye, you keep your head down, and you breath shallow, Thats the problem. The problems of the mind cannot exist if you don't give them what they need. It's a raging fire, and your body is the fuel. So let change the fuel. Lets change the source of heat, and then change the heat. Where the body goes the mind follows. It's not the other way around. Trust me on this. Relax the shoulders, relax the neck, the head, the face, your arms, your chest, stomach, legs, feet, and Breath. Breath in deeply and fully. Doing this will be the hardest thing you'll ever do. You're changing everything, about yourself, and the first 3 weeks will be the hardest, The fears, the thinking, will keep coming back. But if you forget, RE REAd this Over and over until you understand.

Skipping to conclusions. Don't know what you mean. If you're talking about other people, Your conclusions are probably right. For me it is anyway. The solution, is to give everyone the finger, and if they try to affect you in a negative way, Ask them about it. Say," When you said that i felt like this, and this". I'm not talking about telling people about your hurt pride, but to clarify, what it is they mean, and in what mind set they're coming from. If you skip to conclusions about yourself, you might be right again. But it's just an observation really, than a judgement.

You used to be happy, Do you remember when you were young, What did you think of? if you can't remember i'll tell you. You used to be filled with pure love. Every thought was that of sheer joy. At least the majority. The only thing that changed was your thought proccess. You want to be happy? it's simple. Re-direct your thoughts to where you want them to go. You live on the earth for such a short amount of time. Do what ever the hell you feel like doing. Be Happy, Be HAPPY. And enjoy it. Smile, and breath

Now the whole death thing. You're only afraid because you don't know. If you knew, you'd have a smile from ear to ear. In many traditions, when someone passes they celebrate, They have a huge party, and a feast to wish the deceased well. The religion in this country, is that of fear. Fear this, Fear that, blah blah-blah. I have no religion, but I'd say I'm spiritual individual. (personal opinion but it's the best way to be free) So back to death. This is what happens when you die. The moment you die, your soul is freed, and it goes to rejoin the creator. Thats the gist of it, All i can describe is state of bliss, nirvana, enlightenment, eternal peace, that will engulf you. Listen when i say, that everything will be okay after you die. Trust me on this.

First I had a similar dream but my parents watched as an alligator chased and continued to devour me alive.I am also not normal I have ADHD am very gloomy and thinks the whole world isagaibst me sometimes.also you might be suffering from necrophobia or the fear of death.Don't worry if you do it sis the seventh most common phobia on earth. Millions of people have it and I have it slightly... I jump to conclusions that I am going to die everyday but I always make it. Trust me you will be fine I promise. TALK TO YOUR PARENTS!!! Also if it consists go to a doctor. If you get a chance go and see a snake in a pet store then try and pet it. Unlike me your can face the source of your fears up close. I had to go to a zoo and just stare at an alligator. Then I realized that my fear was irrational and I have been fine ever since.

think of how silly it is.
think about what a dream is, and how unlikely it is that it will actually happen.
and think about how ridiculous the idea is of snakes biting you. like really, how likely is it that a snake is gonna bite you while youre laying in bed?

Do not force sleep. Just lay in your bed with eyes open, keep them open as long as possible and the sleep will come naturally.

Don't watch anything scary anymore! Surround yourself with things that make you happy :) Try sleeping with the lights on and maybe ask to sleep in your parent's room. Don't be afraid of what they will think. They will understand. Try reading nice books before bed and drinking tea. Spray a little lavender perfume on your pillow. Think about somewhere beautiful and calming like the ocean or a sun-filled meadow. If all else fails, try talking with someone about your fears. Maybe go see a therapist. Don't be afraid of death. One day, it will happen to everybody and you can't stop that. It's not scary, its natural. Sad, but natural. So enjoy life to the fullest and you will always be happy :)

Learn to identify, and confront your fears: a fear confronted is a fear reduced, but a fear avoided is a fear strengthened. Some people turn their fear into anger: they become angry at themselves, for being afraid, and turn that anger on whatever the cause of it was perceived to be. I don't regard this method as being psychologically healthy.

A selection of methods by which you can help yourself, follow: Firstly, I suggest that you take a course in self defence, Tae Kwon do, Kung Fu, and/or Karate, to teach yourself how to deal with physical fear. Read: "Feel the fear, and do it anyway". Your library, bookstore, or amazon.com may be able to supply a copy. It is important to deal with a negative internal monologue (self talk), or mental process, such as disturbing thoughts, or images, or even an emotion, by the process of (a): recognising it, and (b): challenging it immediately.

When you notice something negative, such as: "I'm never going to get over this!" or: "Why am I always so pathetic/useless/such a scaredy cat?" or even: "I can't handle this fear!", or a disturbing image, recognise that this is part of your negative mindset, from the deep, primitive, animalistic recesses of your brain, which needs to be balanced by the use of higher mental functions.

Having identified and labelled it, visualise a large red "STOP!" sign, and/or possibly a stern faced person wagging an index finger at you in a negative manner, then say to yourself as forcefully as you can, even aloud in a big voice, if alone: "I know this tactic: GO AWAY FOR A WHILE !!!" You may want to use either: "ruse", "ploy", "game", or "trick", instead of "tactic". In the case of an image, visualise a large "STOP" sign, or your preferred version. Some people go so far as to keep a wide rubber band in their pocket, then put it around their wrist, when they catch themselves backsliding, stretch and release it, as a method of reprogramming their mind sooner, but I don't regard it as being strictly necessary. Remember to remove it, afterwards, if you use this method.

"Just for today, I'll not be afraid of anything. If my mind is clouded with nameless fears, I'll track them down and expose their unreality. I'll remind myself that only I am responsible for, and in sole charge of my life. What happened yesterday need not trouble me today. Do I accept the fact that it's in my power to make today a good one just by the way I think about it and what I do about it?"
