Is it bad for your joints to use ankle weights while walking?

I probably would not use them for walking...i usually use them for leg lifts, side leg lifts etc...it could probably damage your legs or ankles walking with them

for me, it is bad. it might over taxed your ankle and may cause you to limp.

no it is fine to use them. you would get better results from using a weighted vest. this way your whole body will get a better workout not just your legs.
