My girlfriend swallowed a grasshoper alive. He is in her stomach. She told me not to worry.Isn't it dangerous?
My 24-year old girlfriend catched an alive grasshoper in the field. She was playing with it for a minute or two. She is very lovely joyful and happy girl and immediately she told me look at me what I will do and laughed open her mouth and put an alive grasshoper in it. Then closed her mouth and very gently swallowed him alive and whole. I was frightened because grasshoper wasn't to little but my girlfriend put her hand on her throat and smiled sending the grasshoper in her stomach harmlessly. One more movement in her throat and all was gone. She opened her mouth and smiled. It was empty. She told me that she can't feel the grasshoper in her stomach anymore and she will easily digest it but I still daubt . . .Isn't it dangerous? Will my girlfriend easily digest him?
If I had a girlfriend that swallowed live grasshoppers---hmmm, I would worry more about her head than her body. It was of course dead in a hurry---if she starts eating worms and slugs I would look for a new friend.

Sounds disgusting, but it won't kill her. Some ppl survive off grasshoppers when the get lost in the wild.

The acid in her tummy will kill it, or possibly the kind she is taking to want to swallow a live grasshopper! Ew much? Did you kiss that mouth??
jjefferson210
No. She'll probably obtain protein from it.

The Stomach acids will kill it. Don't worry!

No problem. Locusts and honey have been a food for many centuries. Quite nutritious but she might want to try cooking them next time. Crunchier and great with Kentucky Fried Chicken batter too!

There are only one or two countries in the world that do not eat insects. Grass hoppers are very popular in African countries. She will be fine. Tell her that next time she should eat grass hoppers with a little white wine brings out tha flavor

In 3 weeks her stomach will explode and millions of baby grasshoppers will come pouring out of her.

If your girlfriend is 24 years old, I suppose that you're the same age. If so, how do you not know this answer yourself? Of course she will digest it and there's nothing to worry about except your common sense.
