My Views:

WAY too over-exaggerated!

All of the sudden this new kind of flu comes and is immediately being called a pandemic! We'll I guess that's the news for ya!

But I do see where they're coming from...this is a new and unkown disease, they're not only making too big a deal of it, but they're worrying the public!

It is actually. We barely hear about the "normal" flu virus and how much more deaths it brings. Only 1000 - 2000 people died worldwide so far of H1N1. Compare that to the 30 000 + people who die of the normal flu virus every year in the USA alone...

I don't know. We'll have to wait and see. But I can tell you it's stupid to compare swine flu deaths to regular flu deaths. Regular strains are already worldwide and well established. This swine flu hasn't even been on the radar for one complete flu season yet.

And here's some info on the 30k number: http://www.naturalnews.com/026169_swine_flu_CDC_influenza.html

I think so too...they always bring up the 1918 flu epidemic which wiped out millions and seem to think we are due....but we eat better and are healthier now

its the MEDIA.
of COURSE they're making a big deal out of nothing.

YEP like any other thing that happens the news keeps it going & going & going when there is better things to talk about. People know this is out there why keep rubbing it into our faces unless you have a cure or a vaccine ready drop the stories. Bring it back with better news such as where to get the vaccines and its dead as well.
