okay so i was just doing exercise and then i took like a break and i was laying on my stomach and i noticed a really STRONG heartbeat in my stomach. i went to see if i could feel it at all in my chest but i could only feel it in my stomach and it was beating REALLY hard and i could feel it throughout my whole body. im a 14 year old girl and i went to go see what it was on the internet and if it was normal and people said it could be abdominal aortic anyerism. which was a serious illness and i could potentially die. im really scared now that i might have it and cant sleep. someone please help me and advise me on what i should do? Additional Details it just happened now for the first time so i wouldnt call it a serious problem. im not in any pain what so ever im just really worried that it might be like a condition.
thats your aorta. it is a main artery in your body. its normal. if you didnt feel that then you would be dead
you should go to your doctor or tell your parents although it might just be the exersize yeah i would probably look into it
go to a doctor if its a serious problem
Go to a doctor soon as possible.
you have to talk to your parents.. tell them why you are so scared. Then see if they can make an appointment for the doctors and go check it out immediately.
Tell your parents you are worried.
thats wierd. what kind of exercise were you doing at 2am? its prolly the baby kicking already
It could just be just be nothing but if it is really worrying you then ask your parents what you could do or you could go to the doctors .
My opinion is that you should alert your parents about the feeling. If they think it's as serious as an aneurysm, then they will take you to the emergency ward of the nearest hospital.
If they don't think it's as bad as that, it's best to get them to make you a doctors appointment so you can get checked out.
Aneurysms are rare in children, so don't worry too much.
even if it only end up being something small, talk to your parents and arrange an appointment just to be sure.
It's better to be safe than sorry :)
it is normal in empty stomach after exercise, you are feeling the pulsations of abdominal aorta, dnt worry and just relax.
