blood pressure reading of 115/70 is this normal or to low? I had just ate like 30 min earlier.?

Ashley
This is within the normal range. the ranges are 100/60-140/90.

I got these ranges from the nursing class that I am in, so they are correct.

That is a very good blood pressure. The current normal for BP is 110/70. You can go up to 130/90 and be ok. Anything over that is considered hypertensive (high blood pressure). One reader said normal is up to 160/something, that is NOT true. If your BP is up to 160/?, you have a serious BP issue.

The normal rate I am told by my Medical Specialist is 120/80 pulse 60. Higher than that one needs to put feet up. Lower, that is say 80/55 drink water.

Hope this helps.

Your blood pressure reading 115/70 mmHg is normal provided you do not have orthostatic hypotension.
Most normal blood pressures fall in the range of 90/60 millimeters of mercury (mm Hg) to 130/80 mm Hg. But a significant drop, even as little as 20 mm Hg, can cause problems for some people.

Normal blood pressure range is 134/86, but this range can be lower on others depending on their health history, current conditions and medications that they are taking. Also anytime you eat your blood pressure drops a few degrees, this is the bodys way of preparing to digest and process what you just ate. That is why when you are in the hospital they always take your pressure before meals.

Unless you have other symptoms like dizziness, nausea, headaches or even blurry vision. I would not worry too much. If you are concern thought I suggest you sick the real advice of your general practioner who can order the necessary test to rul out any serious illness, if that is what is suspected.

Good luck
