not really but you are more likely to be aware of it as your other "functions" shut down the heartbeat is maintained more or less and you becoem sincreasingly aware of it, esp of you are lying on something with your ear |

yes if you are tired you body is having to exert it's self more. it's also a possibility that your blood pressure has gone up from the fatigue. be careful and always get some rest. |

It's normal if you've been exercising or preforming some strenuous activity, but not if your just laying down to go to sleep at night or something. |

yes. the heart needs to pump more oxygen to the brain so the heart will need to work extra hard. have a good rest with some soothing music on. It helps. |

No, have you been overworking ourself? |

JD
yes it is. if you have not gotten enuf sleep it will affect your bodily systems, it will make your heart beat faster, perhaps affect your digestive system as well. it used to happen to me a lot when i worked at night and had to stay up or get up for an early appt. |

nutterorsaintuchoose

If you ran a lot and you're tired than it is. But if it just happens by itself I would go see a doctor you might have a sickness. |

know it all

If you have been exerting yourself, sure it is normal. If you are resting (but tired) you may have arythmia, which makes your heart beat faster. See a doctor if it is something that is bothering you. Peace of mind from knowing if something is wrong or not is priceless. |
