Is it bad for a girl with Palpitation (heart problems) to have a relationship?
It's really tearing me apart everytime people say that me and my best friend can't be together because she has a heart problem..

She keeps on telling me to give up because I'll get hurt in the long run..

I remember was the doctor telling her that she eats too much salty food and caffeine.

Me and my best friend have been together for 7 years. We never had any intimate relationship because of our own fears..

I'm willing to take that risk just to be with her..
If i need to sacrifice something, I wouldn't think twice about doing it

.. to summarize it all: Is it bad for a woman to have a relationship? I mean like being married and having kids..

This isnt a film...story...GET RID OF HER..!!! no need to hug such disaster...

First off what terrible friend to tell you to give up. Don't listen to her. You heart problem that doesn't mean you can't still have a normal relationship. Are you asking if it is bad for a women with a heart problem to have a relationship? The answer is no if that is your question. You can have a normal relationship the heart problem is not going to make people turn their heads.

I would think it is dangerous. For you.

I think what she's telling you, is she's eventually going to die. Probably sooner than you think and she's trying to keep you from hurting. So, I think it's up to you at this point to explain to her what it means to you.

Do you really think you can go through the emotional heart break of having someone you really love die at a young age? You wouldn't want to put your own kids through that, losing their own mother. So don't jump to that quite yet, just think about what is best for you and your own future.

This is not a "best friend" thing. It is about love, and you are both being as noble and loving as two people can be.

Of course take all the medical advice she is given into account but then totally embrace the time and the feelings you have for each other.

Both of you and your best friend are an idiot. I wonder why you call yourself to be your friend's best friend!! hey come on! if you really care her go for the relation and give a damn to what people say. you must busk under the light of love and friendship. Give respect and try not to be so mean. Take care of her and save her from more heart troubles!!!!

Honestly, I would consult a doctor before jumping into anything. I mean, just be careful with her & take good care of her & I'm sure things will work out for the best :]

Any sort of stress I would imagine would be bad for her, including the stress of being alone.

Your friend most likely does not have heart disease if she has been diagnosed with heart palpitations. Palpitations are heartbeat sensations that feel like your heart is pounding or racing. You may simply have an unpleasant awareness of your own heartbeat, or may feel skipped or stopped beats. The heart's rhythm may be normal or abnormal. Palpitations can be felt in your chest, throat, or neck. Palpitations are usually not serious. However, it is best to discuss this matter with her doctor to find out exactly what she has and what can be done about it. Heart palpitations are no reason not to have a relationship.

"I'm willing to take that risk just to be with her..
If i need to sacrifice something, I wouldn't think twice about doing it" So, you expect her to risk her life for you? You sound like a real gentleman...

Personally, I'm suspicious of this "no relationships" excuse, but that's not my call to make. Regardless of the reason, if she does not want to get into a relationship with you, then that's it, kiddo. The end. ESPECIALLY if a medical condition is involved.
This is probably not what you want to here, but you need to back off.

The things people are telling your are completely false. Abnormalities in heart beats are very common, and only a few types present much of risk. If your friend has a heart problem that is risky, the doctors would be treating it and your friend would know exactly what rules she has to follow. Ask her what her doctor has told her. There's some accurate info at the link.
