How to reduce blood pressure as it is 150 without taking any medicine?

astro guru
Take garlic oil capsules once a day.
eat 2 bananas every day at breakfast.
Do not add salt to your food.

first what is your age... if u happen to be above 50, then do not worry... emotional disturbance is the major reason for it... it is not too high to take any medication nor too low to neglect.. consume bland diet... and stay calm and happy...

reduce salt intake (even hidden - like canned foods)

eat bananas and cucumbers

all the best

Do Pranayama regularly. It has good effect on BP.Reduce all fatty foods, fried foods and canned foods.Reduce the salt amount, but don't avoid it.you need little salt for your daily activities.
Be happy all the time.Daily laugh for sometime.Just watch some cartoon or comedy serials regularly. It is really good for BP patients.

No Salt at all

Reduce your body weight if you are overweight. Reduce your salt (sodium) intake. Regular walking exercise. Check your total cholesterol and HDL cholesterol. Total Chol / HDL must be below 4. Lower your total cholesterol to less than 200 mg% (either by cutting intake of saturated fatty acids and if it doesn't work with Statin group of drugs) and HDL more than 40mg%. There is no medicine to elevate HDL but only by exercise. Do relaxing exercise and keep mind stress free. If these methods do not work and the BP is still on higher side, medication is the only method.

eat less eggs, cheese and red meat.

150 over what? The 150 is not THAT bad.....However hypertension is designated if your blood pressure is "consistently", day in and day out, at or over 140/90. In the days gone by, the saying was "The top number of your blood pressure will be 100 plus your age".....so if you were 50 years old and your blood pressure was 150 you were considered to be just fine and dandy........but this old tale is not true. If your bp is over 140/90 "consistently"....then you probably need to be on medication. Go see your doctor if after you've taken your bp for a full week at the same time of the day and it stays above 140/90. He will most likely put you on medication.

You have not mentioned the diastolic (lower) reading.
However even taking it as in between 80 to 90, a systolic BP (blood pressure) of 150 may be considered as hypertension requiring treatment with medicines.
As the complications involved of a neglected hypertension (without medical treatment) are many and always serious/life threatening in nature, please consult your doctor immediately for necessary examination, investigations, and treatment (with medicines).
And all other precautions like reducing weight, salt intake, fatty substances, exercises, yoga etc., may be advised by the doctor to potentiate the action, or to help to reduce the dose of the medicines prescribed only.
