sudden changes in light will make you sneeze but it's also possible to be allergic to sunlight my dad has to wear sunglasses when he's outside or driving whenever there's any sunlight at all otherwise he sneezes like crazy

Absolutely no allergies in play here...
It is called photic sneezing and it is actually a strange biological response to the sudden change in light. I also experience it, and it throws me off!
