If you get a minor burn, what should you do if you don't have any anti-septic cream?
Suppose you accidentally burn your finger slightly from the matchstick, you can run water over your finger but what next if you don't have any creams?

No..you put tooth paste on it..because it will cool down the whole thing.

Actually, you can use yogurt. Its a relatively effective way to treat minor burns, apply it for 10 to 15 minutes. Repeat if needed.

Hope this helps.

keep it under cold water for some time. cream not necessarily needed if there is no broken skin.

No, and some things such as vaseline can actually trap the heat in and make the burn worse.
Put your finger in ice water as much as possible. Ice it the best thing to pull the heat out, then when it starts to heal you may need some anti-bacterial ointment or cream to help with infection.

Cool water, and keep it clean. No antiseptics needed if there are no "septics," broken skin, etc. lol
Just time.

For these occasions, buy yourself an Aloe plant..Break off a small piece and apply the liquid to the affected area. It's the best thing for minor cuts too..;)
