not much extreme measures are not really effective. there are side effects and things might be worse. what matter most is consistency over a period of time. Our body are created with a slow adaptability not extreme.

Don't know how tall you are or your body type. 3 days with no food? You'll probably lose water and be hungry. Not a good idea to starve yourself.

Hardly anything. you might even put on weight. If you starve yourself, the next time you eat, your body will store ALL the food as fat just incase you have a long time without food again. It's really bad to diet this way.

just eat a little healthier and do more exercise. Walk instead of talking an escalator or elevator. Go for a walk or jog in the morning, do yoga. Substitute an apple or strawberries for biscuits or cake. The weight will practically fall off. It really works. Just don't stop eating completely.

You lose weight more quickly, and in a more healthy manner by simply cutting back on calories (but still eating), and taking up an exercise routine.

Depends whether or not you exercise. But, you really, REALLY do need to eat. This is not healthy at all.

Not eating is the worst way to diet.

You need to mix exercise with a healthy diet.

1) Exercise for at least 20 minutes a day
2) Eat lots of fruits and vegetables
3) Stay hydrated. Your body works more efficiently when it has water
4) Take a multivitamin

I might say about 3 lbs. Not as much as you would lose if you ate a little and excersized though. You need to eat so you metabolism wil make you lose a little bit of weight

From personal experience no more than 4 pounds and that's with exercise. Try negative calorie foods - good luck!

that is sooooooo unhealthy.when you starve yourself your body consumes muscle...not fat. eat foods high in protein for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (try to have dinner around 4 hours before you go to bed).exersize! drink lots of water. oh and one more thing...if you only weigh 120lbs you dont need to lose any weight...

i dont think you actually lose weight that way

if you dont eat your body goes into starvation mode and slowly burns off fat. this is not an effective way to lose weight. a more effective way is a healthy diet of about 1200 calories and lots of exercise. also drink lots of water!

Honestly, not a lot. Most likely 2 lbs tops. (Based on what you have inside of your colon, intestines and stomach.) By not eating you would actually slow down your metabolism and when you started eating again, you would gain more than you actually lost because you body would be trying to restore the nutrients lost. The best thing to do would be to eat more often but in smaller portions and healthy items like veggies and fruits to increase your metabolism and therefore promote healthy weight loss and eating.

Dont stave yourself, as it is not healthy nor productive by any means.

Cut out salty things and other foods that bloat. DO NOT not eat at all, because you'll baloon up the second you arrive and you binge on everything in sight.

I'm not sure of the specifics, I think like broccoli bloats you, and I know salty things. Look for others online. But if you just get rid of them, you wont lose weight, but you'll loose bloat, thus looking thinner.

Don't give up eating. Actually, if you stop eating altogether, you'll actually put on more weight than when you eat. Exercise every day, eat a balanced diet with your 5 a day and get plenty of sleep, and that's get you better results than not eating at all. How tall are you? I'll bet that you are skinny as can be. You don't need to lose any more weight. Be happy with who you are. If you starve yourself, you're gonna reach a point where you overeat and that's totally unhealthy!

...this is very unhealthy for you! do not do this to yourself. you should concentrate more on exercise and healthy eating.

You cant just not eat, thats starvation, that wont help you lose weight! And i doubt you could not eat willingly for 3 days because thats when your body becomes so hungry you want to eat just about everything!

They key to losing weight like that isnt all of a sudden stop eating, its to eat less but eat more. You pretty much eat healthy snacks throughout the day, like 6 or 7 and that helps your metabolism. Eat like a yogurt for one snack, some celery and carrot sticks for another, etc etc you make them up as long as they are healthy!


If you dont eat for 3 days, the next time you do eat, you'll gain more weight because your body is starved.

wow don't do that its bad for you and as soon as you eat again you will gain it back to lose a little weight in three days stay away from salty foods which cause water weight gain and drink lots and lots of water. That's all you can really do. Don't crash diet it won't work. Eat lots of veggies and good protein for the next few days stay away from salty things and junk food and you will be less bloated and feel better take care.....

That makes no sense. It will only slow down your metabolism. You should eat 4-6 small meals to speed it up. Drink TONS of water, (don't buy into the antioxidant and energy crap) and exercise. If there were an easy way to lose weight in 3 days, don't you think everyone would do it?

Plus, many women would KILL to weight 120! What's your problem? Your perfect!

I weigh about 118, and to keep fit and my weight down, I eat a balanced diet and exercise daily at the gym, burning at least 800 calories in 1 1/2 hours. I am able to lose two to four pounds a week if I burn more than I eat.

Exercise required is at least 30 minutes and may be done in 10 minute increments

I am 5'2" tall wear a size 2, and my daily intake to maintain is 1500 calories without exercise. If I burn 800 calories, and eat only 1500, then my net intake is 700.

There are 3500 calories in a pound, so 5600 calories are burned in 7 days, not counting my job which is very active also.

Follow the food pyramid in making sure you get the variety your body needs along with sufficient intake of fluid.

Starving burns muscle not fat, and remember your heart is a muscle. Not a great idea when you think about it.
