 How long will it take to lose weight if you dont eat?
I was wondering if you dont eat how long will it take you to lose 15 pounds?...

I need to lose 10 pounds by the end of the summer?
I'm 13 and I'm 5' 3" or 5' 4", and I weigh 111 pounds. I need to lose like ten puonds this summer, and I'm looking for things I can do to exercise inside my house since it's REALLY hot outside. My friend has a treadmill, and I'm over at her house a lot, and I could probably use it 2 or 3 times a week. I also eat a LOT. It's pretty crazy that I'm not obese right now, because of all I eat. Any tips on how to lose 10 pounds (without losing muscle)?

Okay, a lot of people are saying that I don't need to lose weight, but I really do eat unhealthly, and too much. Probably three times as much as I'm supposed to. All my fat is pretty much in my legs and stomach, and I would NEVER be anorexic or bulimic or anything. That scares me too much.

Hot is good because it will make you sweat which is good as well. Work out outside when you can and you'll see better results. Working out in the A/C is nice but no pain no gain. Also remember to stay hydrated. As far as food, just eat healthier. More water, less soda and sweets. Make sure the food you eat has less than 30% calories from fat.

111 pounds is amazing. It's a great weight for your height. Plus, you are young, and still growing. You need to eat healthy so you don't have growth problems. When I was 13, I ate once a day and I worked out way too much. I'm tall, but then when i was 15 I started having weight problems (gaining to easily, I was like a yoyo haha gaining losing and so on) since i stopped working out but my body got used to it. Now I am 18, and I am still gaining weight losing weight and vice versa, it is annoying. Take good care of your body and growth while you can. Don't over exercise. Don't eat minimally. Just eat for your hunger, not too sugary stuff, and work out once in a while that's what I suggest.

To lose 10 pounds though, I think you should go jogging, swimming, biking, anything that makes you sweat.

i think that you are too young to worry about your weight...but eating Special K cereal has helped me and a few of my friends lose a few pounds.

a key trick to stop eating so much is drinking water every time you think you are hungry--its a proven fact that the people always mix up signs of thirst and hunger---usually if your wanting to eat you are actually needing more water in your body.

eat the special K cereal for breakfast, as snack between meals and you can even eat it for lunch and dinner but only have fruit with it ( like an apple, blueberrys, rasberrys, banana)..


also workout 4-5 times a week for at least 30 minutes ( sweating and panting)

----- remember losing weight only works if you change your diet aaannnddd workout regularly---

that weight sounds fine..
and your not obeise because u have a very fast matabolism like me...
ive been 5'10" and 140 pound since i lift alot of weight in football i gain 20 pounds of muscle so im 160 and i stay like that.
but trry doing lots of sit up push up and run alot
the sit up and push up so u wont lose muscle and the running so u can sweat all the pounds off..
try doing all that in the sun at 100 degree weather lol...

You don't need to lose weight, you are at a god weight!! please ignore the hollywood idea of being a skelaton is beautiful. also, your only 13, you are going to get taller, and your weight is going to spread out more. You eat a lot because you're growing. But don't eat junk food, if you're going to eat a lot, eat fruit and vegetables. You can do situps, squats, and pushups if you need exercise to do inside. Or go for a walk early in the morning before it gets hot out.

Sounds like you have a pretty fast metabolism! That's going to be great for losing weight.
I think that you're the perfect weight right now, but anywho...
Don't eat as much as you do...if you eat like a "normal" person (one with a slower metabolism) you will probably lose weight instantly! Cut out 100 calories, and work with that.

Cut meat and junk food out of your diet, take a multivitamin (with iron), and exercise daily (running, swimming).

Drink lots of water. Cut out foods high in carbs, sodium, and starchy foods like potatoes and pasta.

I don't know why you'd want to lose weight anyway. You're thin, but good luck, and be healthy about it :)

I have the same problem, except I'm just doing things to get in shape, instead of losing weight. But what I do in my house is just sit ups and push ups. Also the thing that works the best is to just keep running up and down the stairs, you get tired really fast, but it works great! If you don't have any stairs in your house, then just jog in place like you have a treadmilll. If you don't want to, if you have a friend or anyone with a pool, doing laps in there helps too, but it will keep you cool at the same time.

You're not even FAT!!!! That about the average weight for you're height you're perfectly heathly.. If you want to tone your muscles though.. You can walk/jog on the treadmill, do sit-ups, pushups, swim, dont eat that much (remember you're a growing girl so you stilll need to eat) just maybe not as big of portions..
Hope I helped! And P.S you dont need to loose more than 3 lbs, I dont think you need to loose any lbs , but not more than 3 if you really want to loose weight..

Alright I'm sixteen, I'm 5' 4" and I weigh 114 pounds. I am extremely skinny. At your age, it's when you REALLY start to worry about your body. I think you're trying to lose weight because you don't have a nice toned body like all those Victoria's Secret models. If you're dying for a toned body, work out and gain muscle. Work on your abs to tighten them and lose the extra fat. You're gonna gain weight this way, not so much though. Muscle weighs more than fat you know. You're not fat. If you think so, you're also calling me fat because we have the same body.

I play soccer year round so I have little fat and a lot of muscle. Maybe you should get into a year round sport.

I am also 13 and I am 5 foot and weigh 103 pounds I also work out at a gym 4 times a week it is hard to loose weight but I found that what works best for me is when I get hungry I get something to eat but I cut it in half and if you eat half of your normal serving you will still be hungry but over time your stomach will shrink and you will start to feel full and also you can do some simple exercises like jumping jacks and SIT UPS sit ups are a great way to loose fat start off slow and remember you are normal weight I am a black belt and it is normal to have a little bit of fat good luck I hope you shed some pounds

Drink plenty of water. Eat lots of veggies and fruit in your diet. Stay away from the fatty foods as much as possible. If you have to snack avoid junk food as much as possible. Weight loss is basically calories in vs calories out. If you are using up more calories per day than you are taking in you will lose weight. Losing about a pound per week is a sensible way to lose weight. Just remember that because you are female and may have reached "womanhood" there will be times when your body weight will fluctuate considerably. This has nothing to do with eating improperly so be patient. Protein intake should be around 25% as well as fat intake. Carbs should be around 50%. Try to avoid carbs after 6:00pm. Good luck. You are so lucky that you can eat and eat and still not put on a lot of weight.
