ur a little more fat then what a healthy person would be but you just have to whatch what you eat and exercise until you think you have lost enough wait to not do it soooo regularly... but you should keep doing that but you dont need to lose anyweight when you think the time is right

You are overweight and close to being officially obese. Your BMI is 27.4 Don't worry, you are not the first person to be overweight. Try to change your diet. If you drink soda, try to stop and replace it with water. It does wonders! You might be able to lose 5 pounds just by doing that in a month or two. Walk around your block, then in a few weeks start joggin, the running, etc. Weight isn't just about looks, it's also about having an awesome self-esteem. Go for it! You are worth feeling great :o) Good Luck.

Slightly overweight

Just because you are 170 lbs, doesn't mean your obese, overweight, or fat.
Because, its all about the percentage of body fat your body holds.
If out of that weight, you have 30% body fat, then yes, your obese or over weight.
However, if you have low body fat, and most of that is muscle, then your not fat.
So, find out how much body fat you have, and then you will have your answer.

If its muscle then ur fine.

If he weighed you correctly according to your BMI (Body Mass Index) you are overweight.

you are either overweight or have a lot of muscle.

There is something called BMI or Body Mass Index, according to it if you are a guy they you are overweight and if you are a girl then you are obese

No you're healthy. Do you have fat rolls? Do you have a hard time grasping things or seeing your feet? I think you're fine honey. I'm supposedly "underwieght", I'm 5 ft and I weigh 74 lbs or so. But it's just genetics. My grandpa at 18 wieghed 80 or so lbs. Trust me honey, you're fine :D

it depends if you are fat or if it is muscle. obese is just a nice word for the other two

Weight alone cannot tell you if you are overweight or obese. The real question is, how much of that weight is muscle, and how much is body fat. Your body stores fat inside muscle as well as inside the skin, so when yuo store fat, it can make your muscles look bigger than they are.

Anything on your body that is soft and giggly is fat. Anything that is hard is muscle or bone.

Depending on your body type. Most likely catagorized as overweight. For 5'6-5'7 usually around 145-150 is average.

idk. It really matters where the weight is. I way 115 and am 5,1 which doesn't make me obese yet where the weight is placed it makes me look overweight. but according to your Body Mass Index you are overweight, its 27.4 and the zone is 25-25.99

I don't think your anything of what your saying! Don't believe what others think about you. You are your own judge, but when it comes to asking, i think your just fine.

I think your slightly overweight.

Obeses is being 50 or more pounds over weight and you are not 50 pounds over weight so you are NOT OBESE

Overweight is being 30 pounds to 45 pounds over weight and you are maybe about 10 to 15 pounds overweight so you are NOT OVERWEIGHT

Fat doesnt excist. it is a vulgar and rude term.

To be honest you are very normal considering your height and all. As long as you are healthy and active then you are absoulty fine!

Im 5"6 and about 170 and I'm a little over weight, your certainly not obese or fat, but maybe a little overweight, not much though.

You might be a little over weight, but it depends on how much of it is fat, and how much of it is muscle. I wouldn't worry about it if I were you.

According to the BMI scale you are overweight, but in reality, I think you are perfect. I am 5'6" and weight 178, and I think I am just fine!

The term overweight signifies varying things to varying individuals. It's a good idea to set off at the beginning, and ascertain whether you are in reality overweight for your size or not, by calculating your BMI (Body Mass Index). To be honest, the one thing that definitely showed results for me was wu-yi tea, it can be seen in the resource box below, they have a limited number of free trials remaining, it was highlighted in Reader's Digest and CNN. I melted away 25 pounds, it definitely does work!

cant really tell cuz like some people have a much heavier bone weight and also muscle weight more than fat. As for me i have a light bone structure and my friend who is like 2 heads shorter is the same weight as me. o and he's just as skinny

It depends, if this is all muscle they your ripped, but you have some stomach (like me) your overweight.

50lbs over weight is obese. So your borderline.

you are over weight but not obese according to those numbers your body mass index is 27.4 and you have to be over 30 to be obese.
