see a Dr, you may have more than diabetes. you may have paranoia, or be a hypochondriac.

Angel
talk to ur doctor they will do some test to see if you have diabetes good luck.. take care

chill out

talk to your doctor, get blood work done, relax.

Watch what foods you are eating, lay off the soda pop, eat fresh fruits and veggies, exercise, drink lots of water.

rugbrat86
sounds like ur having sympathetic symptoms. just try not to worry about it

Frank
I am a physician. We often relate symptoms from others to ourselves and we worry ourselves needlessly. It is not to say that you don't have diabetes, but it is more probable that you only fear that you do. Many physicians do the same as we study about various illnesses. I had beri-beri, Tsatsugamushi fever, leptospirosis, sleeping sickness and leprosy all within six months, and somehow I survived. Fear of needles is a small problem and very common....if your friend uses insulin...get one of the syringes...clean...still wrapped...and inject some water into an orange....do it several times...it will help overcome the fear of needles...needles are vital to life as they deliver medication to keep you alive....after you feel comfortable about needles...destroy both the needle and syringe.

This is like the easiest test a Doc can do for you - it takes, like, a second.

Some things are not worth worrying about - get the test, it is SO simple.

By the way, you're NOT so dead - you just sympathize with your friend. Get a test - you'll feel better, and you caan come up with cool ways for your friend to dal with the problem.

~Jessika~
Nah...you're probably just imagining it b/c it happened to someone you know...get tested of course.

~carebear~
go to your docter, or even a clinic, and they will tell you, i hope you are ok

Fainting is not a sign of diabetes. Google Diabetes and you will get lots of info on what it is and symptoms. Many people have it and don't know until they are tested for it.

bramblerock
IF IT IS A MATTER OF USE A NEEDLE OR DIE YOU WOULD GET USED TO IT REAL QUICK. DIABETIC NEEDLES ARE SO SUPER SHARP AND TINY THAT YOU CAN HARDLY FEEL IT GOING IN AND THEY ARE ONLY A HALF AN INCH LONG. YOU SHOULDN'T DELAY GETTING CHECKED OUT.

steve_dave_83
my grandfather hashad diabetes all his life and hes 76, i doubt u got it but if so dont worry about it,,it will be okay

Answer Givererer.
I don't think it's actually diabeties, but still, i think that instead of asking people on Yahoo Answers, you should talk to an actual doctor.

william
Try a vegan diet. Recent research shows the vegan diet will reverse type II diabetes. See http://www.vegetarianorganiclife.com/ and http://www.newstarget.com/019785.html I also believe the vegan diet will substantially help prevent the secondary complications of type-1 diabetes.

alright well just becasue your friend has it doesnt mean you have it. FYI. diabetes isnt contageous. haha um well what are your symptoms because fainting because of a needle isnt one of them. maybe you are taking in a lot of water? sweating? well if you think you have it then id say get yourA$$ to the emergency room like NOW. hope all goes well

kommander_glock
If you aren't feeling well you ought to go see a doctor. If the doc thinks your symptoms are possible indicative of diabetes the doc will run tests. Also, diabetes can be controlled without injection of insulin. Proper nutrition can help stave off the need for injected insulin.

you'll need to goto the Doctor and have them do a blood test. Most of the time what you think are symptoms of it is the fact that you just have low blood sugar from not eating right. You are now aware of the symptoms.

Mom
go get tested one needle now maybe prevent daily needles taking insulin later.

Make an appointment with your doc and tell them what you're feeling. Ask to have your Blood Sugar checked and that should give you and your doc a clear indication of if you really do or not.

randrnorman
First of all what are your symptoms because change are you don't really know what diabetes are and you just feeling for your friend.
Good luck and if your that worried go see a Dr.

I'M THE SAME WAY! DON'T LOOK UNTIL YOU HAVE TO,GRIT TEETH,BITE YOUR LIP OR IF ALL ELSE FAILS..BITE A LEMON

el_scorcho6
Fainting when you see a needle has nothing to do with diabetes.

I think what you have is "sympathetic symptoms."

Mr. Peachy®
Chances are you're just having a sympathetic reaction.

fainting at the sight of a needle is no indication of diabetes or any other illness.
