How many medical professionals in the diabetic field?

Do you mean how many medical professionals are diabetic? Or how many different medical professions are there that deal with diabetes? If it's the second, there are CDEs, which are medical professionals, usually nurses, who have received extra education in diabetes management and have become Certified in Diabetes Education. Of course, there are doctors, nurses, and dieticians. There are endocrinologists, who specialize in treating people with endocrine disorders like diabetes, and in their offices you would find secretaries, phlebotomists, nurses, physicians assistances, nurse practitioners, nurse aids, billing specialists, insurance specialists, etc.

Now that Diabetes is becoming so prevalent there are more everyday.
