Rinsing with peroxide will help to get rid of some of the bacteria, and may relieve some of the pressure. Lightly chewing on whole Cloves will give a numbing effect and is very safe, even for small children. |

don't use peroxide it don't work it only make the tooth ache worse! use orejel if that don't work go to the dentist immediately how should i know the same thing happened to me last year |

Most of the answers below are good advice. Cloves are good, mouthwash, alcohol etc. but ultimately a trip to the dentist is inevertable for long term relief. dont forget toothache is always 100% worse at night and the nights seem to be very long. So try these temporary remedies until you can make an appointment to see the Dentist |
