Do you ever miss the someone who lost their battle to cancer?
I lost my grandpa at age 7. Star this question if you lost someone to cancer or you have someone who has cancer or is fighting.

My granma on my dad's side died of many sorts of cancer spread throughout her body just after I was born. My grandma on my mom's side died in 2001 from lung cancer caused by asbestos. I know how it feels to lose people to it, and I do miss them time to time but I'm just glad they're not hurting anymore.

Every day. <3 you sammi.

Every day.

i lost many of family members to cancer i miss them very much

SPIDER FINGERS is not a princess
Of course. I lost an aunt to breast cancer when I was little, and more recently a close family friend, also to breast cancer; she was only forty, had just got married to her long-term partner, never had any children though she really wanted some.

I lost my best mate to bowel cancer on 4th January 2009.There isn't a day go's by that i don't think of him and miss him.
Rest in peace Ken.

I had a friend mine and my parents she had a rare type of breast cancer and she was the nicest person in the whole world she owned like 20 stores in our city and she will be missed. (tear). I had a grandfather who died of large b-cell lymphoma (stage 4) on febuary 14, 2010 three days after my birthday I felt guilty because u was celebrating and he was in his death bed. I was there sleeping in the same room as he was he died at 6:13a.m. With a heartbeat of 135 and oxygen level of like 30. I remember the good ol' days we would always get in trouble. My grandma ( the other side of the family) had a slow forming type of breast cancer and since we live in a Taos, New Mexico (yes were part of the united states) we had to drive like 63 miles daily just to go to radiation therapy for her in Santa fe, New Mexico, US the capital and it was the biggest cancer place i hav ever seen in my life. She survived. I had an aunt that died when I was a baby and she was goin to baptize me too, but now I cry even though I never met her it seems like I have seen and been with her for the longest time, her duaghter (my cousin) baptized me at the age of ten. She will he missed. This story can go on but my battery is dying on my laptop. So I really do miss then ALOT.

well, my great aunt died, I knew her good but not good enough to be so close as to let her death tear me apart, but yeah, I miss her. My mom surely does, and I even had a hard time not getting red eyed at the funeral. but she is loved and missed by many people. in art at my school we are supposed to draw a picture the best we can of a loved one, and old picture. I was going to do my grandma in her wedding dress, but i found a nice one of my great aunt, and figured it may be a little more special if i did.

I have lost a LOT of people I care about to Cancer. I used to work at a Hematology/Oncology Clinic. All of my patients are/were so special to me. Whenever we lost one - we would say that they were on Celestial Discharge (a way to say they are in Heaven, or one with the universe).

Let me tell you something, you NEVER know the courage and the triumph of the human spirit until you have known someone with Cancer. My life has been enriched more than I could ever express in working with these dear sweet beings.

I celebrate those who whipped Cancer, and I cherish the memory of those who went boldly into the light....every day of my life.

Yes, my mom died of cancer and I miss her a lot.
I like to think that she is on a vacation trip, and that someday I will join her.
Sometimes I see her in my dreams, she appears in my dreams quite often.
I always feel her presence close to me.
I hate cancer, she had breast cancer.

I am very sorry to hear about your grandfather.
And I also feel very sorry for every answerer who lost someone as well.

Yes..Alot, My Great Grandmother, My Grandfather, 2 of my Aunts, My Uncle, My father had breast cancer, and has been alive for 13 years already. I was just diagnosed with Breast cancer, and hope to survive as long as him. :) I miss my Grandfather all the time. He had stomach cancer.

I lost my mother to radical breast cancer which kept spreading throughout her body. She had five different operations and chemo therapy before she died.

I just had radical prostate surgery a week ago Tuesday and today found out there is a 30% chance there is still some left but need to wait 6 weeks to see where we are. I have high hopes as I have 3 granddaughters and 1 grandson who are very concerned. We are keeping them informed and positive. I hope this is what you are looking for.

My name Isobel.
I lost my grandmother to lung- and breast cancer when I was only 6. Breast cancer supposedly runs in the family, but her smoking didn't help either. I lost my great-grandmother a year later too from a brain tumor. She never really recovered from losing my grandmother.
