if you weren't allergic to latex gloves in the beginning is it possible to be allergic to them trough time
like last week no this week yes

It is possible to become allergic to some things over time but i believe its not possible for certain things. I just now got allergic to a certain flower this year , but for things like latex, rubber, plastic. I dont really know.

jombojolly
Absolutely - that was my story. Many allergies morphed over time (reduced, increased, vanished) and new ones came along like "gold" and latex.

Yes it is certainly possible.

yes it is possible. your body builds antibodies for different things and it wouldn't surprise me if you are really allergic to the powder and not the latex. Be careful, you could go into antiphylactic shock from this which can diminish your airway and cause difficulty breathing. It usually starts by getting hives. once you find out your allergic you always will be.

You can be exposed to a thing over a number of years and suddenly develop allergy to it. It's your body saying, "enough, already". And repeated exposures to the substance will cause stronger and stronger reactions. There are latex-free gloves on the market now because many people have this problem.

Yes - this is one of the ones where it does seem to develop over repeated exposure & suddenly.

First - check it's the same brand - could be different powder.

If not - there are latex-free gloves (most of the ones in hospitals are these days because of this problem)
