You may well have nasal polyps. They can cause random nosebleeds.

Do you have allergies as well?

Next time you're at the doctor, ask them to stick that goofy little device (the one they shove in your ear to "have a look") up your nose and have a glance at your sinus cavities. Bet it looks like the Luray Caverns up in there!

Nosebleeds often stem from a weak blood vessel which is sometimes treated with antiseptic cream, sometimes it is cauterised - sealed using silver nitrate.
Lean a bit forward when you get them, holding a cold cloth on your hooter.
If you swallow blood you are very likely to be sick.

Normally, nose bleeds come from dry air mixed with natural air pollutants(dust/dirt).Irritants can naturally tear the mucus lining when cleaning the sinus region. Easy healing includes swabbing your nose with a little carmex to heal and resoften the the lining. It may cause you some nasal drip, but atleast it won't be blood. Also, dairy products promote mucus build up.

This is simple to prevent. This means that you are low in iron.

Go out and buy some iron tablets and take one a day and eat much more protein and this will take care of the problem overnight.

I KNOW !
This happens to me too!!
It actually happened to me yesterday at school while we were playing football for phys.ed class.

What I did was put a humidifier in my room and i turned that on before i went to bed, then also every morning and every night i put vaseline in my nose. =]

soo yea try doing that because it eventually stopped for me.
