To Use - Take this product by mouth, with milk, fruit juice, or water.
- Refer to the label directions for your specific product to see if the dose must be swallowed whole, chewed, or sprinkled onto food or liquid.
- If you are uncertain about any of the information, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
- If you are using this product for diarrhea due to antibiotics, do not use for more than 2 days or if you have a high fever, unless your doctor tells you to do so.
- Do not use in children younger than 3 years of age unless your doctor tells you to do so.
- If your condition persists or worsens or if you think you may have a serious medical problem, seek immediate medical attention.
Side
Effects - An increase in stomach gas may occur, but usually goes away with continued treatment.
- If this effect persists or worsens, notify your doctor or pharmacist promptly.
- An allergic reaction to this product is unlikely, but seek immediate medical attention if it occurs.
- Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing.

Precautions
- This product should not be used if you have the following medical conditions: allergies to milk/lactose products.
- Before using this product, tell your doctor or pharmacist your medical history, especially of: diarrhea lasting more than 2 days (especially if you also have a high fever), other stomach problems, recurring vaginal infections, recurring urinary tract infections, any allergies.
- Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breast-feeding before using this product.
Missed
Dose - If you miss a dose, use it as soon as you remember.
- If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule.
- Do not double the dose to catch up.
