Time Taken: 2 days

Reason: MS Relapse with Optic Neuritis Date: 7 July 2009
Side Effects
high glucose in urine, stomach pain, bruising, insomnia, compression fractures, severe headache, extreme swelling

Additional Thoughts
I have done 1000mg x 5 days twice (and am currently on my third regimen of same) and 500mg x 3 days for four months. Coming down is excrutiating, especially without a taper (as I have always done). It is a hard medicene on your body, though I do acknowledge that it has helped with some spasitity problems in my arms. This time, though, I also have the high glucose in my urine, which concerns me. This is new for me.
