Side Effects
i had to clear my throat often, my doctor recommended to take Prilosec for three months. After taking for 5 days, I started to have serious trouble breathing. For every 10 secs I have to take a deep breath and it's almost 10days since I stopped taking this medicine but my breathing trouble doesn't go away. I went back to doctor, I asked me to do a check X-ray, EKG, Breath test. I am yet to do Stress test too. Its frustrating what this drug has done to me. It's inconvenient to take deep breath every 10 seconds. Hope this will go away. I am very scared now.

Side Effects
5 days into a 14 day Prilosec OTC dosage I began having episodes where I felt like I could not breath, had tingling primarily in my hands, arms, and shoulders, nervousness... this initially happened only in the evening but began occuring throughout the day. I eventually felt like I couldn't lift my arms. Went to urgent care and ER - all lab work, EKGs and chest x-rays were normal as was blood pressure and oxygen level. My heart rate was increased.

Additional Thoughts
I'm pretty certain my symptoms are the result of the Prilosec given I've never had episodes like this before and I've never had panic attacks or anxiety in the past. I've found numerous other reports of similar symptoms with people taking Prilosec!
