Side Effects
I missed a dose or two, and I started having pain in my wrists and ankles. Unknowingly, I stopped taking the medicine all together. The next day both my hands and feet including all toes and fingers were swollen and they really hurt. I went back to the doctor and she said that I was just sensitive to the medication, and told me to stop taking it all together. She prescribed Ibuprophen 800 to relieve the swelling and pain and also prescribed that I take calcium tablets for the short term, but to be honest, it does not help with the pain or the swelling at all. Both the pharmacist and the doctor say the effects will last about a week. This sucks:(
